My very first apartment, the first place that were truly mine! But it's time and I am so so happy with my new place! It was nice to start with but with ( Read more... )

looks like ... fun? XD Do you have to carry all those boxes by your own or did you ask a company to do it?

It's fun and intense and tiresome all at the same time! But with a goal in sight - a new lovely fully furnishef apartment! - it's easy to keep going! :3

Thank goodness I had help carrying all the boxes from the truck! XD we were six people carrying it all up the stairs to my 2nd floor apartment so the carrying part only took ~40 minutes! Then I took everyone out for coffee and cinammon buns at a coffee shop! :3

When we moved to this appartment about 2 years ago we had about 7 people helping us and every single one keeps begging me to never move out again because it was so horrifying to carry my stuff XDD I live on the 3rd floor (or 4th floor for Japan) and it took about half a day and everyone was dead in the end. ^^'
It's not that my appartment is stuffed, I just always have a huge attic with stuff I don't even know about XDD

I'm looking forward for the new appartment pictures :D

Even though it's hard to say good-bye to many old flats (we were HAPPY to leave ours...), think of all the possibilities your new flat has (it has more rooms, right?)

Only 40 minutes for carrying the stuff sounds like you are very organised and don't keep many things (like we with our tons of books).

What did you buy at the furniture stores?
Do flats in Sweden come with lamps and kitchens? (Here, flats are basically EMPTY, not even mirrors in the bathroom).

It was very nostalgic to leave my apartment, but at the same time it feels conpletely right to move into the new one, so it's not that bad. :3

Surprisingly (or not XD) i have a looooot of stuff. But my helpers were extremely amazing and very organized so we took care of it really quickly! :)

Apartments here don't come with furnitures at all, I don't think. There is usually a fridge and a freezer, but that's as far as it goes! But I like it that way, since it means you can make it your own instead! :D. At the furniture stores I bought sooooo many things, but the main thing was a new bookshelf, a new dining table + chairs and a sofa! ^^
