Question!

People who are in the know, or who are in Japan and are members of different Johnny's FC's. I was wondering about the ticket situation to shows right now - because I read a post on a Kinki Kids community a little while ago about how Johnny's are now checking ID's and membership cards for Tsuyoshi's solo lives. But I haven't seen anything about any ( Read more... )

Johnny's is strict. I read their newsletter about getting tickets through them as a foreign fan, and they said they would check tickets and passports at the door. But of course that is for getting a ticket as a foreign resident.

I don't know how it works for other tickets. I have a suspicion they are cracking down on FC members reselling their tickets. So let's be alert and beware!

They've always been pretty strict, but I can't understand why they don't start with scalpers/the ticket shop's... it'd make more sense than forbidding fans to enter the arenas! O_O

Of course, they've been talking about checking ID's and memberships for years and years already but never really doen anything about it. I hope they'll go easy on us... ^^;

They cannot go after the scalpers or the shops because they are not the police. But they obviously can do something in the theaters and arenas where their own shows are.

but of course they should be able to make the scalpers move from just outside the arena. or at least contact the police.

So far, we've only heard reports about Tsuyo's lives, but it sounds like it might be a full J&A-kind of thing, not just a KinKi FC thing. The rule's always been in place, but apparently they're cracking down on scalpers now by checking IDs and turning fans with suspicious tickets away at the door. A friend of mine mentioned that they might/do ban memberships that are suspected of reselling tickets, which means it might not be possible to take a ticket from a friend's who is in the FC either >_<

Still waiting to hear about Kisumai's next con to see what they'll do at a bigger venue since I heard Tsuyoshi's live was at a relatively smaller place. It would take hours to check every single ticket at domes!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I heard as welll. I was told by someone that Tsuyoshi's lives only had about 500 seats, so that'd explain why they'd be pretty harsch on checking tickets - it'd be possible for them to do so AND Kinki fans are known for being able to pay whatever it takes, lol... so a live with only 500-something seats would probably have SKYHIGH ticket prices on the black market omg. I also think it'd be impossible to check all the tickets at bigger venues... it'd take AGES to check everyone's ID's and memberships and whatnot...

So let's cross our fingers for everything to be all right. X_X
