I'm at home, got to quit on time today even though I was worried I wouldn't be able to for a while! My brother came here for a quick visit and we had dinner together. I've never heard of eating reindeer before! Does it taste like anything else-chicken, meat, etc.?

Oh, reindeer is so tasty! It tastes like meat - butit's darker and the flavor is a bit stronger and a bit "wild". We usually season it with juniper berries which makes it even better! It's a very traditional dish in the north of Sweden and Finland and it's really one of the tastiest things I know - especially when made into a stew with cream and mushrooms! *_____*
