So I wasn't going to go to the Matchy-con. I promised myself to be strong and not go. But, then I got an offer to buy a ticket for the original-price from loveliest
therese_chan, so... I decided to go. Because I am a weak, weak person who wanted to see Tsubasa one last time before I go back to Sweden and I can't go to anymore places of the D&R tour. And then there was of course the chance of seeing any kind of Tsubasa-Subaru interaction... (Which also made me want to go to yesterdays show; Takki and Subaru on a small stage together...)
Ah, either way! So I went to the Matchy-thing. Which wasn't as much a Matchy concert, as much as it was a concert produced by Matchy. From what I understood, it seemed like Matchy had invited special guests and persons he wanted to come and sing and perform their special talents. Because everyone there WERE really talented, even though my focus lay heavily (only?) on Tsubasa. ^^;
The concert started with Question? singing a few songs; all good and nice, and the Question? singer Yonemura (?) has a really nice voice. The last song they did was "Mezamero Yasei!" and after about half of it Matchy-san appeared. And a little while after that, Tsubasa appeared too. of course. ^^ He was dressed in leather pants and a black shiny shirt and a black jacket to it; the collar of the jacket was in some kind of shiny material. From his hip hung a chain. He was the only one on stage who was even a little dressed up - everyone else were in regular weekday clothes - jeans, t-shirts, and so on.
He finished Mezamero Yasei! together with Matchy-san and after that they had a short MC-part-tingy where Matchy said he wanted to become Takki and then they for some reason changed "Tackey & Tsubasa" to "Tsubasa & Tackey" (indicating something there, yo? Is it some other order that has also changed, or what? I will never accept it!). Then, of course, Matchy said that he wanted to join Takitsuba. So Tsubasa proposed, "Matchy-san, Tsubasa & Tackey". Matchy-san didn't want the "-san" in the group name so I thnk they decided on "Matchy, Tsubasa & Tackey" in the end?
After deciding on that, they sang the rock-version of Yume Monogatari together - I think Matchy-san seemed to forget the lyrics once! - and after that Matchy-san left the stage and tsubasa was left to by himself perform two more songs from his D&R tour; "Hyaku nen no Koi" and "Toriko". He made a more censored version of the mikestand-sexing, but I still got some straddling! Yey!
Oh, by the way - after Mezamero Yasei! the band changed from Question? to FiVe, since they're the band for the D&R tour! \^_^/
Ah, either way... that seemed to be it for Tsubasa. T_T He left the stage and I was fairly certain he wouldn't come back since he had D&R i Sendai the day after...
So now it was time for FiVe solo. FiVe is REALLy talented musicians. I was impressed already at D&R since they get quite a lot of space there, but wow, they really are VERY good.
Then it was time for Flat Five Flowers. Honestly; I think 90% of everyone there must've been FFF (Fura Fura) fans. almost everyone there had red FuraFura towels around their necks or to wave around with! I really liked several of FuraFura's songs, and of course Subaru is a fantastic singer. he sings with very much passion and feeling, and is very intense in what he wants to express with his music. FuraFura's "Pray" is a new favorite of mine, even though I know
therese_chan has played it for me before on her mp3. Extremely beautiful song!
Either way, after a while Matchy and that Tanokin Trio member, Yoshio Nomura out. Nomura is AMAZING. I was super-impressed; he played guitar with his teeth and behind his back and it was very very impressive. After that jam-session thing, it was time for a short MC where they talked and then they sat down on two chairs, both picking up their guitars again, and started playing the first notes of Andalucia ni Akogarete... And that song just gives me goosebumps EVERY time. I lovelovelove it!!! And, well... they started playing it, and here I went all, "Oohhhh, if Tsubasa is still here he HAS to coem out now! I mean, it would be SO perfect if he'd get to dance flamenco to Andalucia!!" and they played and they sang and he never ever came out and I got more and more annoyed; I probably looked REALLY grumpy there. ^^;; But I mean... come on. Johnny's have ONE flamenco dancer, Imai Tsubasa. And he's been IN Andalucia, studying flamenco. So to not let him come out and dance to Andalucia would've been sooo... >________<
But of course he came out. ^^ And he was perfect. I have such a weakness for his flamenco... and, my heart got all warm and fuzzy from being so proud when I heard so many people around me go, "Ahhhhh~!" and, "Ohhhh~!" and "Kakkoii!!" as he came out and danced it. The girl behind me who was a Maki-fan actually gasped as he started the flamenco! ♥
I didn't see this, but
therese_chan told me that appearently Subaru had been staring at Tsubasa during the flamenco! \O_O/
By this the concert were already coming to an end... They all sang "Gingiragin ni Sarigenaku" together and then they said their thank you's. They only did one encore after that, which was "Midnight Shuffle". They were all wearing the concert T-shirt and it looked VERY good on Tsubasa's body. *_* Very snug, and he had either cut the sleaves off, or he'd rolled them up, whichever, so it looked like a tanktop. GORGEOUS.
And then the concert ended. There were some fans who stood clapping for a LOOOONG time, wanting them to come put again... but they sadly didn't... :/
All in all it was a very very good concert. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed all of it, and not only the Tsubasa-parts! And it was great to finally get to see Subaru again; especially outside of Kanjani8. I've been wanting to see him solo ever since I saw the Kanjani8-concert a few years ago, and Subaru was the only one back then I was really impressed with. Though I would've liked to see more of Matchy, too, during the concert.
Ahh, I am just very happy I got to see Tsubasa again, one last time before I go back to Sweden. ^^ And I liked Budoukan for concerts, too. I felt like I could see very well even though my seat was quite high up!
It was also talk of this perhaps becoming a recurring event. So maybe next valentines, again? Who knows...
