♥Yes, they totally just got married.♥
Decemer 20, 2006.
And so it happened. I was finally on my way - on my way to Japan, on my way to Tokyo, on my way to see Tackey & Tsubasa.
The few days before the departure, I’d mostly been doing nothing. Just trying to prepare myself that I was, indeed, going to Japan in just a few days. I wasn’t really nervous because of the trip itself - I felt pretty certain it’d all work out fine, but... the TakkiTsuba part was scary. I couldn’t even nearly grasp that I’d get to see them for real.
And, because I am a wandering nervous-breakdown I’d been bothering Freija, (
nymphadorablack) through the phone, calling her pretty much every day. She had, somewhere along the lines, agreed to be my travelling-partner. It was mainly because of this that I wasn’t worried about the actual trip - I, for my part, is by far the spazziest and most confused person I know. I have the worst sense of directions, and my memory is pretty much Hello!Goldfish!, so if I’d have had to go by myself, I’d have been scared to death, I think, but now that I knew I had been lucky and gotten such a wonderful travelling-partner, so I knew I didn’t have to worry; she’d take care of me so I wouldn’t get lost or something like that. XD
So, first and foremost - Thank you, Freija , for putting up with me for more than two weeks, and for being the best fangirl-travelling-companion I could’ve ever wished for! It wouldn’t have been the same without you! ♥
So, on the actual departuring-day, I went first to Stockholm’s Central, where I was meeting Freija sometime during the morning - she’d come by boat from Finland to Stockholm earlier the same day.
We had agreed to meet at the “hole”, but spotted each other before that, while I was (trying to) exchange money. (No, I hadn’t done that already, what do you mean plan in advance?)
And then, after a teary (not really) farewell with my mother who’d come with me to the Central, we were headed to the bus-office where we bought tickets and then... we were on the bus on our way to Arlanda-airport! (After about 5 minutes on the bus, we saw a display-window with a header saying, T&T TRAVELS. We took this as a sign that it would be a good journey, with lots and lots of T&T. ♥)
We soon noticed that it’s scary how many signs there are everywhere, even if you don’t look for them, concerning Johnny’s, and TakkiTsuba in particular... O_O
We got to Arlanda safely, and from Arlanda to Schiphol (which is, like, the coziest airport I have ever been too! There was even a BIRD there! I don’t think it was supposed to be, but there it was. ^^;;;)
From there and on to Narita went without any troubles too, and... suddenly we was in Tokyo, at around 5 in the afternoon. Went from Narita airport by a Limousine Bus to Akasaka, where our hotel was. We were both pretty dead by then, after many many hours of travelling, but I tried to stay awake during most of the bus-ride. When I saw Tokyo Tower for the fist time, I hardly knew what to do with myself. It was there, and it was real, I wasn’t seeing it in a CLAMP-manga, but it was real, and ohmyGodI’minTokyo!!!
We arrived at our hotel at about 8 pm - we quickly checked our rooms - I actually saw Tokyo Tower from my bedroom-window, how cool is that?? - The hotel was fantastic. Cheap, able and nice and extremely helpful staff who spoke English. I love it when I have no expectations and immediately get pleasantly surprised by service alone. After checking our rooms, we went back to the lobby to quickly email home to let everyone know we’d arrived safely, and then immediately... headed off to Harajuku and Takeshita-doori.
The most surreal thing about it all was that... it wasn’t very surreal at all. Instead of being foreign, and strange, it rather felt like coming home. I’d been so sure that everything was going to be strange, maybe I’d even get disappointed? as I’d been wanting to come here for so long... but instead, I immediately felt completely safe, and everything sort-of.... made sense? As if everything that ever goes on here, at home, doesn’t make sense if they do it in any other way over there.
My point is; Tokyo felt like home immediately.
We took the subway, and THEN WE WERE IN HARAJUKU.
And, here everything will become rather jumbled and rambly, because seriously, I just have no clue anymore. And, for real face, the notes I wrote down when I was there are NOT helping.
The main reason that we went to Harajuku that late, even though everything had already closed down for the day was that we wanted to check the Harajuku ticket-shop (Gurakudoh), and try to peek inside to see if they had any tickets to the TakkiTsuba concerts... When we got there, we immediately saw a big roller-advert-thing which we suspected was currently showing some kind of Countdown ad, because it had all the different Johnny’s-groups names flashing by... and suddenly, BAM! it said “NEWS” on the board. We squealed and died, and people looked at us amusedly, probably wondering why two westeners were squealing madly at an pretty-much-empty Takeshita-doori late in the evening. But, yeah. ^^;;;
Picture of the big moment:
I think we might’ve ventured a bit on Harajuku street, too, after that? I’m not sure though, but I think so.
After that we went back to our neighborhood, and from there wandered to Roppongi (Which I always call “Roppongo, because I am clearly retarded and will never learn that it’s called Roppongi.) We went to a bookstore which is open very late, and bought a heap of idol-magazines. I remember thinking that I can definitely get used to this - to just see them all, the Potato’s, the Wink Up’s, the Duet’s, ALL the magazines just being there for me to buy... :3
Me and Freija looked through the idol-magazines in my room while we ate som fried chicken (NOT KENTUCKY, THOUGH! <-this is fun if you continue reading. Really.)
Then it was suddenly, like, 2 in the morning and we’d planned to get up early to rush to the ticket-store as soon as they opened, so sleep-time.
We did wake up quite early, the next day, and immediately went back to the ticket-shop - which was open now. We were happy to see that there were lots of tickets for both Countdown and Kanjani8. There was tickets to TakkiTsuba, but not many. But we did get to buy a pair of tickets for the first Tackey & Tsubasa con - the one at 13.00 on the 23d. Arena C, row 17.
OH, GOD, WE HAVE TICKETS, was pretty much the only thing swirling though my mind just then. And then we started looking through the photo’s they were selling... Paparazzi-pictures. There were new ones, old one’s, even older one’s... and one’s from the Kuricon’s in Osaka. We didn’t even get it at fist - that the pictures were just a few days old. Tsubasa’s hair had getten so long. ♥ They were both looking perfect. And most of all, they were looking So Happy. Like, shining-sparkly happy.
WERE WE ACTUALLY GOING TO SEE THAT? We had just bought tickets, so yes we were.
And then we started buying photo’s. And I’m not sure if we ever really stopped buying them? Because, for real face - if you’re a Johnny’s-fan and will be possessed by anything while in Tokyo - it will be the photo’s, I swear. They’re dangerous.
So, we continued the day by wandering towards the Johnny’s-shop - which was practically empty, so there was no que or anything like that, so we could just step inside, buy everything we wanted and go out again. LOVELY! ♥
So, our first day in Tokyo, was spent buying photo’s. Yeah. ^^;;;
I actually think we took a quick visit to Shibuya too? I think I bought the versions of the ToBe-single and 22-album that I didn’t have, at HMV. Then we hurried home to catch the Music Station Super-live in time!
When we got home from our shopping-day, btw, the tickets we’d won from the yahoo-auctions were waiting for us in the reception. We wasn’t sure at all what it was we’d bought - it might’ve even been one ticket! We wasn’t sure! But when Freija opened the envelope... it turned out to be two, thank goodness! And we hoped, and believed that the seats were very very good!
So, when we arrived in Tokyo, we were completely empty-handed, ticket-wise... and now, after only a day we already had tickets to two of the four shows! We felt like winnars!
At the MS-Superlive, Tsubasa seemed to have a cold, so we started worrying for him, hoping Takki would take care of him so that he’d feel better the next day - the first CONCERT-DAY!
The rest of the days in Tokyo are a jumple of thoughts. I hardly remember what went on during these days... during the Concert-Days, everything is completely muddled-together, and I remember me and Freija flailing a lot, squealing a lot, giggling a lot, and being generally insane. The days after the four concerts were even worse. No, we will never, ever get normal again.
Strange discussions was had concerning everything from Gackt’s incestuous relationship with himself, to Koichi owning a park, strange subway-tours where we miss our stop because of what kind of underwear Tsubasa may, or may not wear under his tight pants... (this actually happened more than once. ^^;;;)
We saw Yamapi. Everywhere. He’s pretty. ♥
And we took pictures with a McDonalds sign in Oguchi. We also tried to photograph it through closing subway-doors.
And every road does, indeed, lead to Gaiemmae. Especially if you get lost from Omote-Sando on the way to Harajuku. Also, if you discuss Tsubasa’s legs on the Subway. And if you want photo-albums.
If you’re lost and end up in Gaiemmae, you might see things like this on your way:
I don’t think Tsubasa swim’s naked in Tongari-corn? But he totally should. Especially in the combined Olympus/Tongari commercial we thought up while in Asakusa. You can imagine yourself what Takki does with that Olympus, while Tsubasa is swimming naked.
As mentioned before, Freija found a Hello Kitty! banana, and we also found pink chocolate dipped bananas at a New Years celebration in Asakusa. I would post pictures, but I don’t think I can, because... ^^;;;;
One of the best convo’s was when we spotted a Kimeru-billboard in Shibuya.
Me: Oh, look, there’s Kimeru! I used to really like him!
Freija: I’ve never understood who he is. Are there two of him?
Me: LOL! ♥
The food is extremely delicious, and no, it’s not at all expensive!
This, I think, might’ve been my favorite-meal during the whole trip? It was SO tasty - but it was so strong I though I’d cry. XD
Shinjuku was, quite possibly my favorite part of Tokyo. (After Harajuku, of course!)
The crepes at Takeshita-doori are yummy. At least when you manage to get the crepe-making-staff to understand what kind of crepe you want.
Accidentally, we found ourselves just outside the avex-building! (Which I saw in a takkitsuba clip I watched yesterday, E45IU/(“%!!!)
After bothering two teenage-girls who had no idea, we found a mailman who could point us in the right direction, and then we finally found Johnny’s Family Club.
See, isn’t it gorgeous?
However boring it might look from the outside, it was one of the best places we visited, imho.
Pretty posters everywhere - like this for example:
Much fun was had while watching the most hilarious TakkiTsuba clip ever. And we saw handwritten messages from them!
We also found a SMAP-SHOP! And a chinese-vegetarian buffeé restaurant, which was neither chinese, nor vegetarian.
We shopped. A lot. This picture features what I’d bought after 4 days. 1 photo-shopping-day, 2 concert-days and one Nakano Broadway-day. The TRIO shop owns my soul, and that's just how it is.
And I honestly have no idea anymore. But we were at Tokyo Sea Life park, and to get there Takizawa helped us find our way, and we helped him to spell Local. With an L.
At the aquarium we saw birds that were fish and fish jumping on land, and eels which looked like swords. But not a single escalator.
And this is just a whole bunch of inside-jokes that no one will ever understand, but, OH WELL! ♥♥♥
Let’s get on, shall we?
CONCERTS
They look like snow-princes, don’t they?
How can one explain the feeling when you get to see the thing you’ve been wanting to see the most in the whole wide world? When you suddenly somehow find yourself in the same local as those you adore the most? When you are suddenly seeing, without a TV-screen between you and them, those that matters the most, those who helps you the most, and those that keeps you sane when real-life gets just a little too much to bear?
Because that’s where I suddenly found myself. Outside a concert-hall where Tackey & Tsubasa were having concerts in just a few hours. And this is where the surreal-ness begun.
People I know at home, who just doesn’t get it, with these “japanese pop-stars”, they’ve all been, “Oh, you’re going to Tokyo? Good for you! Oh, you’re going for a concert? Crazy, crazy little girl!”
But when being there, it’s just so much more than that, it really is. Takki and Tsubasa, both, aren’t they something that makes you get through the day just a little easier? They’re something more, something special. Not-quite-human, but something more.
When I was getting ready, early the morning before the first concerts - somehow, I’d managed to sleep really well, despite my nerves being all over the place! TAKKITSUBA?! CONCERTS!? WHAT!? - I remember thinking that this is insane. I’m not supposed to see them for real. What if it takes away something, what if I get disappointed? What will I do with my life then? Yes, I am obsessed to that degree, and I’m not ashamed to admit it! ♥
It was actually a little scary to leave my room that day...
What was I to expect from all of this?
We left the hotel, took the train from Shibuya to Kikuna-station, I think? And from Kikuna to Shin-Yokohama.
And, now is when we started getting extremely lucky...
We came early. The goods que was quite long (but nothing at all compared to what we later encountered at Countdown...). So what else was there to do than to stand in line and wait? It was lucky that we got there so early - we later on heard that pretty much all con-goods sold out pretty quickly...
All the concert goods was completely gorgeous. We’d already bought all the new photo’s in the Johnny’s shop, but I bought everything else. We’d also promised to buy for a friend, so we bought the double of everything - thank you, takkitsuba for the big shopping-bags! If it hadn’t been for them, we’d have never managed to get everything home!!
The uchiwa’s are the most gorgeous, ever. ♥
And the phamplet... I honestly have no words for the phamplet. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, classy, timeless. It looks, feels and SMELLS lavish. And I like that. A lot. ^_^~♥
We’d been to the first concert already. It was as much YAY!!!!! as anything can ever get... but we didn’t have tickets to the second show. We had lessthat one hour to get them. We searched for sellers, scalpers, ANYONE willing to sell us two tickets. But we didn’t find anyone. It was about 20 minutes before the 2nd show was starting, and we were desperate, depressed and on the verge of giving up hope... we’d said that if we hadn’t gotten tickets at 5, when the concerts started, we’d just go home and cry...
During the first show, Tsubasa had called Takki, “Ero-santa” which had brought us many giggles already, because it just fits him So Well. And in pure desperation, we put our hands together and say, “Oh, please Ero-santa! All we want for Christmas is to get tickts to the two shows we don’t have tickets for!”
And then, suddenly, not 5 minutes after, a Japanese girl comes and prods Freija, and says, “Sumimasen”. I think I got a whip-lash from turning my head so quickly. Could it be...?
There was two girls, and they asked us if we were going home. We said something like, we probably have to go home soon even though we don’t want to. We want to go inside, wants to see the concert, but we can’t because we don’t have tickets. They say they have two tickets, and they sadly can’t attend the concert themselves.
They wonder if we can, please, buy their tickets?
And I think both me and Freija died. Then we started flailing wildly, probably screaming, Yes!!!1!!
Honestly - they could’ve said whatever imaginary-sum right there. 50000 yen. 100 000 yen. I would’ve bought them, even if it was the worst seats in the arena. I just knew we HAD to get inside, at whatever cost.
And, then they sell us the tickets for half the price they originally sell them for at the fanclub.
Business is made, and they start thanking US for buying their tickets, saying the seats aren’t very good, but thank you very very much! And we were thanking them, and, even though I think Freija and me was as happy as can possibly be, these girls weren’t far from it. And they kept thanking us again and again, and then they asked where we came from and then they wanted to be photographed with us, and pictures was taken and we were all laughing and hugging each other, and after thanking them again, we just RUSHED inside the arena, found our seats - which was almost exactly the same as before, but on the opposite side of the arena - Arena B, row 16.
And we had some time to sit down and try to grasp that we were actually inside, we’d actually get to see them again, and Thank You, Ero-santa, and after a few minutes the chants of, “Takki” clap clap,”Tsubasa” clap clap, started. And there they were again.
Tackey & Tsubasa.
The concerts started with a young boy who sounded like Michael Jackson (Was it a boy? Some are saying it was a women? Was someone close enough to the stage to actually see for real?) holding a gorgeous speech from TakkiTsuba, where they spoke of how the year is ending, and thank you all for being here today. They thanked US, for having made their lives so wonderful. They thanked us, and I was already tearing up, and the concerts hadn’t even started yet. They apologized that they hadn’t been able to see us for so long, and wished from their hearts for us to have a wonderful time.
And they dedicated this concert “to you”, and thei love, “four you”.
“Because in life, all you need, is love.”
It might be a bit cheezy, but it was so heartfelt, and gorgeous, and touching... It’s so them. ♥
After that the real concerts began, with Takki and Tsubasa appearing in the center of the stage from a... flower that opened? A cocoon? Something that looked like a tulip, at least. ^^
The first concert was... I have no words. It was perfect. They were both gorgeous - how can two people look like that, for real?
And, the second concert got even better.
On the third concert, we had stand-seats (on the upper floor), row 4. We’d wanted to try being high up at least once, and see everything from there. See the thousands of penligts, see everyone moving together...
On the fourth concert, we had center-seats. So on Christmas Eve, for the very last concert, our seats were... incredible. They had three stages, one main, one round one in the middle and one small in the back. From the main stage to the round stage they had a runway, and around all the center seats they had a runway, and then they had two lifts on each side of the small stage. So, we were in the middle of all that. A few rows on the left, behind the round stage. Our seats were kick-ass. Lucky again - thank you, Ero-santa.
As the coccoon opened, everyone just shot out of their seats, started screaming wildly and started dancing and waving their penlights around. Venus opened the con.
They started singing, and god, they’re actually real! They wore the most gorgeous coats I have ever seen - white, and shiny, with many silver patterns embroidered on it - I think the patterns were snowflakes? Or it might’ve been flowers, but it looks like snowflakes.
During the con’s on Christmas eve, Takki wore a santa-hat, and looked completely and utterly adorable.
Tsubasa, in real life... I have no words. His skin is perfect, perfectly chocolate-brown, his hair is gorgeous, his head is small and cute, and his face... his eyes. I hardly dared to look at him through my binoculars at first, as it just got a little too much if I did that...
Tsubasa Imai is a beauty, and that’s just how it is.
I’m going to concentrate on the christmas-eve con’s from now on, because they were the most mind-blowing I have ever experienced in my life.
They kept to the main-stage during Venus, and as they’d finished singing that one, they headed down to the runway towards the round center-stage. While they walked, they were both smiling really big, and one got the feeling that this, this really is what they love the most in the whole world. Being together, doing this together with their fans.
I am still amazed that a concert that two people are having, for thoursands and thousands of people, can feel so honestly warm and... familiar? I guess that’s what Tackey & Tsubasa is all about? Being there for each other, always, and doing everything for their fans?
While walking down the runway, Takki was getting the crowd fired up (as if we weren’t already... ^^;;;) by waving on of his arms around, yelling “YEAH!!!!” while sounding like a heated bull, or something. It’s impossible to not laugh at him. He is so funny, and his charisma is x1000000000. Tsubasa was walking a few steps behind Takki, with the most gorgeous smile on his as he looked at him.
Then they started singing Ho!Summer on the center-stage and it was wonderful, and I really really love it, and by now they were really close to us too, during the fourth con!
Then it was time for Hitonatsu no…, which I can hardly listen to anymore without dying happily.
Hitonatsu no... is one of my all time T&T favorites, and... how can they be so wonderful? During this song, they were on a cart on which they were moved from the center-stage to the smaller stage in the back. And, every time, as Tsubasa started singing his lines, he lay down on his belly to wave at the crowd while singing. During one of the cons - I think it was the 2nd - Takki lay down beside Tsubasa. And it was just soooo cute!!
And then... during the last con, while Tsubasa was singing his lines, laying on his belly like before - but now, Takki stood towering above him, and he was making strange faces, shrugging, pointing from himself to Tsubasa and back to himself again... and I was thinking, No... no, he just can’t. It’s not possible, he wouldn’t.... And then he shrugged, and HE DID! He suddenly just plopped down, and lay on top of Tsubasa!!!, and the arena just exploded with crazy screams, and this is where my brain totally flew out the window, never to return again.
TAKKI LAY ON TOP OF TSUBASA. Flat on top of him, all of their precious body-parts touching and both looking like they’d done it a million times before~ (AND, BTW, TAKKI WAS STILL WEARING THE SANTA-HAT!!! Ero-santa, indeed. ♥)
Me and Freija had talked, before we went that we hoped there’d be at least a little rabu. We agreed that just seeing them standing on the same stage would probably be enough... AND WE GOT TO SEE THEM LAYING ON EACH OTHER!!! We didn’t see the reactions from our seats, as their heads were turned from us, but they were smiling reeeally big as they stood up again. This is, just so you know, the highlight of my life. Takki lay on top of Tsubasa.
When they’d gotten off of their love-ride (erm... ^^;;;) they climbed up in the lifts and it was time for One Day, One Dream. They went up in separate lifts, and the arena went black for a few moments, and you yould just barely make out that they were undressing and then putting on something else. And the lights was turned on again, and ODOD started, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing these handmoves - evn though I don’t think I do them properly, but they’re fun~!!
They were now wearing this:
Then they sung Aishiteru ze, T&T. I’ve always wanted to see this live, and OhMy, it was fantastic! I hardly understood a word of what they were saying before the last show, when Takki said that, “From now on, you will be, Takizawa Tsubasa!”. But I just screamed whenever everyone else did, so all was well. Oh, it was also really adorable how Takki said, “Aishiteru yo,” or something in a very cute voice. And during the second show he said, “I Love you!” in English. KYYYAHHHHHH~
And, I feel like I must add that when Tsubasa speaks during this song, the way he uses his voice... It’s deep, dark, sexy, and I die ‘ktnxbai.
Then they stripped for the name-calling, and I died again. I saw Tsubasa’s beautiful belly, and Takki failed when he was pulling off his pants. Tsubasa laughed at him, and it was so cuuute! ♥
And we all screamed “TAKKI!”, “TSUBASA!”, “TAKKI!”, “TSUBASA!” like mad!
Then there was a mini MC, and then they put on red coats with a beautiful pattern on the back, and it was time for, Kakko Tsukanai Tonight!
OH, KAMI-SAMA, I LOVE KAKKO TSUKANAI TONIGHT!!!!
♥ ♥ ♥
Close enough to chu~.
Then they sang Natsu no Kaze, which was really really beautiful. Takki finished singing this song by himself, as Tsubasa had gone backstage to get ready for his solo, which was...
Toriko!!!!
I can’t believe I got to hear Toriko, too! I love that one so much, and I thought it was ero when I watched the Hatachi DVD... but this one just... Wow.
Rock-star, Rock-star! The arena was really dark, and he wore a black suit, and I think he wore sunglasses during all the perf’s, too? He looked super kakkoii. And, his voice... again with the deep, dark, sensual voice which just KILLS ME DEAD!
As Toriko had ended, the spotlight turned to the center stage, and there was Takki. He had a little magical-corner. Er, I love you Takki, but please never try to become a wizard. ^_^~♥
And, during the 4th show... I can hardly think about this, because, Hello!Spazz-attack, but somewhere before this - I THINK it might’ve been during ODOD, while the lift was just above us, we think that Takki saw us. Of course, we might be wrong, but this is how we both experienced it:
We were both very close to where he was, and we were the only westerners (that we saw, at least!?) and I’m veryvery blonde so we were sure to stand out quite a bit... and then he looked straight at us, and he smiled that wicked/amused smile which is SO Takki, looking as if he thougt that, Oh, two crazy westerners are here to see me! and I was all, : DDDDDDD, and as he looked away me legs turned to jelly and I turned to Freija and grabbed her arm, while screaming to her in wild-panick, “DID YOU SEE? IT LOOKED LIKE TAKKI SAW US!!!!!!!!!!”
Then, at his magical-corner, he always drew a picture and signed a paper-board, which he threw out to the audience. And during the 4th con, just as he stood up and thought of where to throw it, he turned his head towards us again, and again it felt like he grinned at us for just a moment. And then he looked away again, and then he turned back and looked again, and threw the paper-board STRAIGHT at us. It landed on the row just in front of us or something. ;___;
OH WELL, if he did see us, that would be just insane.
Then it was time for Black Butterfly, which is one of my favorites of the new album. I just want to dance whenever I hear it!! And his performance was amazing, and he was wearing a hat and looked extremely gorgeous.
Then Tsubasa get back on stage, and they performed Mermaid (which had a stunning choreography!) They were now back on the mainstage. They also sung Kamen there, I think?
Then they were back on the center-stage for Serenade. I love all these dances, and the way they move their bodies.
The outfits for these dances almost made it too much. There is a lot of hip-movement during these dances (Especially from Tsubasa, GUH!) and they were wearing these veryveryvery tight pants, with red stripes up the legs, on the sides, and a red “belt”. Tsubasa’s legs are not-of-this-world.
Really, they can’t have worn anything under these pants. And I checked really closely, with my binoculars, even. No, I’m not a hentai. *shifty eyes*
Then... it was time for the best song ever. X -Dame-.
I think I fell in love from the very first second. I could’ve listened to it over and over and over again. Before the song started, T&T both pulled off their black jackets, and some juniors helped them to put on sparkly purple jackets instead, with a big, fat “X” on the back. They put on silly glasses, and Tsubasa did silly things with his hair, and they both looked completely adorkable!! ♥♥♥
And then the melody started, and it was just so pretty and shiny, and then they started singing and I just fell in love. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS SINGLE!!!!
The arm-movements, too, are hysterical to do! And at the end of the song, while T&T went to get ready for the next songs (Which were both veryvery traumatizing...), they had recorded a VTR where teaching everyone the dance-moves. They were in the same purple jackets we’d just seen, and they started out with doing the Dame-moves... but then they just started playing around, dancing line-dance and so on! KAWAII!
Then they came out again, and Love Lucky was starting. During the third show, as we were on the stando-seats, we were on row 4, so just as the melody started playing, people started rushing down to the railings. And, as I was currently lacking a brain, I did too. And suddenly we both stood there, holding on to the railing, as TakkiTsuba came in these wagon-things on each side of the arena, to let all the fans on stando-seats get a good look of them too.
And I realixed that from where we now stood, we’d get to see them from, like, a metre away.
Takki came on our side first, and during this song, they both wore long silver-coats, and... animal-heads. So, while wearing dark-round sunglasses and a reindeer-hat, Takki slowly came our way. As he swiped past us, it all went very quickly, I was just screaming and dying. But it was okay - not to be mean, but I think it worked out somehow, because it was Takki (♥) AND he was wearing a reindeer on his head, with a big red bow under his chin.
Tsubasa was, for the three first concerts, wearing a bear-head, which he changed during the last con to a raindeer-head that matched Takki’s.
But as they’s both met in the middle, they took of the heads and Ai Shitagari started playing and Tsubasa’s cart started moving towards us. And everything just turned to slow-motion. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t breathe... I just saw him coming closer and closer and I even looked behind my back if there was a chance to escape. He came closer, and now he was just before us, and everything had sort of went completely silent in my head, and he was just standing there- thank god, he wasn’t looking in our direction at all - but he just stood there, dancing to himself, feeling the music, looking perfect. As soon as he’d went past us, I started shaking and rushed to get back to my seat. I needed to sit down.
Then, I think this is where the MC was? For the first con, I don’t think there was any guests? Maybe?
Then, during the second show, Junno from KAT-TUN came, and gave T&T christmas-presents. Snow-santas that they later on gave away/threw to the audience. ♥
No guests during the third-con MC either, I think?
But, during the 4th concert, Yamapi and Ken Miyake from V6 was there! The screams were deafening! YamaPi was wearing a santa-hat, and Ken was wearing one of the reindeer-heads - he couldn’t hear a thing!
Yamapi looks thinner and smaller than he does on pictures. Or maybe he’s started to loose weight recently? He stood mostly silent, as if he didn’t really knew what to say, or maybe he didn’t want to interrupt the big-boys-talking?
During the talk-portion, it was mostly Ken and Takki talking - Ken suggested that they’d form a unit called, “Kentakki”, which sounded just like, “Kentucky” (the fried chicken) and everyone died laughing. Save for Tsubasa, who looked very neglected and even... jealous! ♥
I didn’t notice this myself, but Freija did - that sometime during the talk, when no one had cared about Tsuabsa for much too long, and everything was just about Ken and Takki, Tsubasa sort of huffed, “Mhm, Kentakki! -___-”. JUST TO BE IGNORED BY EVERYONE! Oh, baby~
Ken made up for it as they walked off the stage though. Takki and Yamapi walked beside each other off the stage, and Ken fell behind to walk beside Tsubasa. Then he put his arm around Tsubasa’s waist and patted Tsuabsa’s butt! It looked very cozy, and I think Takki cancelled all Kentakki plans when he found out about that! XD ♥
Then there was a junior corner, where they were learning us some kind of coordinated name/kyyahh-calling for Hey!!Listen to the music. They were now wearing these pink west-things, with a furry hood:
We also saw Tsubasa very closely when he was wearing this, during the 4th con, as he went by us in yet another cart. He had the hood up, and was again feeling the music. It wasn’t quite as traumatic this time, but still very much, “!!!!”.
Then there was, Ai Check It, and again, the dance. How can Tsubasa move like that?
Then Takki had his solo songs, here he first sang Taste Me and then Juunigatsu no Hana which is one of the most gorgeous ballads there is. Beautiful.
Okay. Slave of Love.
Tsubasa danced. With a chair. He danced an Ero-dance for Slave of Love. I got to see Tsubasa Imai ero-dance for real, in real-life, with my very own eyes. His clothes wasn’t anything over the top, but less-is-more. He wore a white shirt and black tight pants, and he was so intense, and erotic and sensual that I didn’t know what to do with myself. Other than stare at hime through my binoculars. Other than to look at him, his body, and his facial expressions. Incredible.
Then came Diamond, which I think it’s impossible for to be anything but mind-blowing. It’s always powerful, and always the song that seems to make the most powerful and long-lasting impression on... everyone. It’s just the perfect song, with the perfect beat, the perfect lyrics, the perfect everything.
Then came Pride the End. These two songs belong together. They’re made to be sung together, I think.
Real DX. The same dance as I’ve seen on the videos, but, wow, Takki is right. This is the song for them to only sing live. Nothing else can ever make it justice, I don’t think. I was floored.
I don’t have pictures of the outfits they used for this, but it was green and looked velvety.
Then there was Kamira tamara and Ikiteru Akashi. I think Tsubasa loves singing these songs. Loves running around, love the smoke-guns. He was smiling so happily! ♥
And, ah... it brings back memories ♥ :
Run, run, running together. ♥
Then it was time for waving the towels around (though I only waved my penlight, but whatever!) during Sora no Screen!
Then the beautiful Michi, which I think was the actually ending of the con?
But then they came out wearing the most creative boas so far, I think, and started singing Yume Monogatari acapella! Kyaaaahhhh!!! YumeMo, YumeMo, YumeMo!!!!
I am sort of worried I’ll kill the word limit now, so I’ll just post these pictures, because, Hot!Stuff!
Then they ended with this hearwarming scene:
Encore
For the 1st and 3d con, they only did two encores, as they had to hurry and get ready for the 2nd cons those days. Those were Starry Sky (Which is one of my all-time favories!) and Love Spiral.
For the second show, they added Venus to that, I think? Or wait, was it Sayonara no Mukou? Or did they actually sing Sayonara no Mukou during the third show? Ahh, I’m not sure at all!!
But, whatever, the good stuff didn’t happen for real until at the 4th con! As they’d finished Love Spiral, we all kept clapping. This had been such an amazing concert, we couldn’t let them go already!!
So, they came out and did Venus again, in white suits. And when they were going, people started screaming, “Mou ikkai!” again and again, and they stopped, and I think they went to stand close beside each other, and then they went a little bit apart, and... I’d never expected this. I had wished for it so much, talked about it before, but I just didn’t think it wouldn’t happen. I thought they’d stopped singing it, almost? I didn’t think he could sing it anymore, even if he wanted to.
But then the melody to Epilogue starts playing. I get goosebumps all over, and everyone’s screaming, and I can’t believe that it’s true. And Takki sings his lines, and I keep staring at Tsubasa because he’s already tearing up.
And as it’s his turn to sing, I hear people screaming, “Ganbare, ganbare!” all over, and then it’s his turn to sing his lines and he’s crying, and I love this about him, the way he lets his emotions show, and he’s not afraid to cry if he wants to.
And he keeps crying, and his voice cracks, but he finishes it beautifully, and I can’t believe we got to see Epilogue.
And they leave. But we won’t stop chanting their names again and again, we keep calling for them, and I almost thought that they wouldn’t come, we’d called for so long already... and then, suddenly, they’re there! Takki’s not wearing anything on his upper-body at all, so he was acting all embarrassed about it. HA!
Tsuabsa was wearing a bathrobe, the tease!
And, then after a while, I think FiVe got out again, and then they sung YumeMo again, and it was love! They looked so tired, but still they had the energy to run around like crazy for another song!!!
And after that... we had to let them go. We had to, even though I don’t think any of us wanted to... ;_;
Freija said, I think it was after the third concert, that she felt as if she could see this concert again and again, and that’s what I felt too. I could’ve seen it a million times, and it still wouldn’t have been enough.
So, Takki and Tsubasa, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, for making this the Best Christmas ever! You promised us an Atsui Christmas Party, and you kept your promise.
I’m happy I got to experience this, and I’m sad I can’t attend the Dame-tour, but I hope you’ll get to show everyone your true strength, and just why we all know TakkiTsuba is the best. ♥
Also, after the con’s the first day, at the train-station, someone came up and knocked on my shoulder, I think. I turned around, a little shocked, and two girls were looking at me, “Are you from LJ?”. It was
ryther,
okiwio and
hhr79!
And I was so shocked, so I probably looked all, O___O, but that wasn’t my intention, it was just so unexpected! As soon as I’d realized what was going on, I was SO happy to meet you all!! Next time, we definitely have to plan better, and arrange a meeting so we’ll have the time to talk properly!! ♥ Anyway, it was GREAT to see you all!
Kanjani8
We’d both been wanting to go to a Kanjani8 concert a lot, and after debating whether we should go to one or two concerts for the longest time, we decided in the end that one con would be enough. We wanted to go to the one we thought would be the BEST one, so we bought tickets from the Harajuku ticket-shop to the final concert of their Kanfuu Fighting tour.
I don’t remember too mcuh about this concerts, I’m terribly sorry if someone was looking forward to a detailed report on it...
I liked the concert all right - it couldn’t compare to T&T’s though. Obviously, as I love takkitsuba so much MORE, but still...
They’re talented. I’m sure they’re REALLY funny too, if you understand what they say. But when you go to a concert, and... it’s more talk, more skits and more humor than actual song, and you don’t understand more than a few words here and there... it sort of takes the fun away!
Not that I didn’t like it, of course! Ryo had a solo which I thought was pretty amazing. It was GREAT to hear Naniwa Iroha Bushi for real, even though they only sung a very short version. When they did Sukiyanen, Osaka, we had the whole group just in front of us, which was pretty awesome.
But, what really blew me away was Subaru. I bold his name, because he was just that good. Fantastic voice, incredible charisma, pretty - though, he looks a little like an Obaachan! ♥
Subaru had a solo called Everyday Music, which was stunning. He held some kind of enormous power in his voice while singing that one, and it was almost magical to see.
I was extremely surprised, that he was as fantastic as he was, and I have already decided that if he ever gets to record his own solo-album I will definitely buy it. <333
Oh, and the Eito Ranger’s skit was fun, I guess? It was VERY VERY long, and I didn’t understand much other than when Subaru wailed, “OH MY GOD!” when Ohkura died. And then I think it was yassu who smelled Ryo’s shoes and said it smelled like strawberries?
I love the Eito-Tanger theme, though. ^^;;;;;
COUNTDOWN!!
Countdown was FANTASTIC and AMAZING and WOW! We got to Tokyo Dome quite late - only an hour and a half or so before the actual Countdown was supposed to start. In out naivity, we thought we’d have the time to buy the countdown-uchiwa’s during that time. *LOL*
Tokyo Dome fits 52000 persons, and I think probably at least half of these were buying con-goods. And I’d gotten the shoppoholic-flu during the trip, so I knew I HAD to get the T&T countdown uchiwa’s. So, again, what other is there to do than to go stand in line?
So we saw where the que went, but we couldn’t see the end of it. So we walked, and we walked... and walked some more. And we didn’t even come close to the end, not even after walking alongside the que for like 10 minutes. It was about 50 minutes before the countdown wouls atrt now. The TV-show starts at 11.30, while it starts at 11 o’clock at Tokyo Dome, so the audience at the Dome get 30 minutes of extra-performances.
So, we were getting a little desperate - would we have to skip the goods? we slipped into the que somewhere in the middle, shh, don’t tell anyone!.
SO, after having patiently and without sneaking or cheating to come to the sellers-booth earlier, we got our uchiwa’s (T&T for me, and Tegoshi for Freija) and we started making our way towards the entrence. It took a long time, there was so much people wanting to get inside at the same time, and so, we didn’t get inside the actual arena until about 10.50! We hurried to find our entrance, and I was concentrating so hard on finding the way to our seats, so I didn’t even look up to see what the Dome looked like. And then I hear Freija gasp behind me, “Oh, LOOK!!” and I look up and I almost feels dizzy, because it’s just so... insanely HUGE! So I just stare, my mouth hanging open, and then I see one of the staff-people wanting to help us to our seats, while laughing a little at our shocked expressions!
Anyway, he leads us to our seats, we sits down, pulls of our jackets and... then the light is turned off, and BAM! ARASHIII! So we hurriedly pulled out our binoculars and penlights, jumped up and started waving our arms around! I don’t remember exactly which songs they performed, but it was at least A.RA.SHI, and, I think, WISH? And one more.
Then, BAM! TACKEY & TSUBASAAA! They started with Yume Monogatari, and then Kamen... and then...
X -Dame-
And then I just started screaming and waving wildly! I LOVE X-DAME-!!!!!
Then V6 with three songs, and then the TV-broadcast started, and you all knows what happens there. TOKIO, KAT-TUN, NEWS comeback’ed, Tackey & Tsubasa was gorgeous and seemed to keep looking for each other when they were made to stand on opposite ends of the dome/on different platform. I watched the TV-broadcast the other day, and did anyone notice how T&T, during the photo-session in the end, flipped their heads to the side, IN SYNCH, to get the hair out of their eyes? IT WAS SOOOO CUTE! and now I just can’t write anymore, I think, because my brain is fried from trying to remember everything!
Wow, when I started writing this, I’d just gotten home from Tokyo. I wrote like half a page, or something. Now it was almost three weeks ago, and I just typed everything up right now, so my head is spinning.
But... I had no idea three weeks could go so slowly - it feels like a lifetime ago. I just want to go back, back to the Christmas-Con’s, back to takkitsuba, back to Tokyo.
Ahhhh, soon, hopefully, I’ll be able to go back. :3
And, to end this I just want to say that, No. Not normal, Ever again. ♥
This needs, like, loads of editing, but I just don't have the energy to do so now. Later, perhaps. ^^
