Regarding Sephiroth, the time in canon from which I take him is just previous to the Nibelheim mission in Crisis Core. So, he has not been driven off the deep end or any of that good stuff. However, the potential for that is still there, as JENOVA is still a part of him regardless.
So, I'm a bit at a loss as to what faction he should choose. At this point in time, he's still "Midgar's Hero", albeit a bit moody and elusive, but he's not full on "evil, burn-it-with-fire", either.
Any clarification/thoughts the modlies could give would be wonderful. Thankee!
Since Sephiroth during his time in canon can lean both ways you're free to choose whichever side you'd like. What happens in the game can always influence which faction he goes to when the next war rolls around, so don't worry about it too much. What faction a character is put into is liable to change regularly with each war.
Considering his status as Midgar's Hero, though, Cosmos might suit him a little more. But again, it's entirely up to you!
Hello, there! I must say, this RP looks amazing. Pretty much my dream-RP that I've always wanted to play as Kuja in, truly. And that leads to my question. I see someone has already reserved Kuja. I'm not quite sure of the policy about this, but is there a way for me to also try out with an app for Kuja, despite the reserve?
We're glad to hear it, and appreciate the compliment!
Yes, there's indeed a way. You can either wait out the reserve or submit a 'challenge' application. If the first player submits an application before the reserve expires, that one will be looked at first. In the event that it is rejected for whatever reason, the challenge application will then be judged. However, if the reserving player's application is accepted, yours will be invalid because the character would be taken.
On a mildly more personal scale, there's always the option to talk to the player about it if you'd rather not go through that process.
Because of my RL picking up I haven't had time to properly intro into the game. I was wondering, would it be possible for me to take Vanille out of the game and then bring her back as a re-start, or would I have to drop her and then re-app? (And if I had to re-app, would I need to make a new app, or would using the same one be possible?)
We understand that real life has priority and can be demanding. It's totally possible for you to take Vanille out of the game and restart rather than dropping and re-apping, if you feel the need to start on a fresh slate.
Don't worry, it didn't come off as either in the slightest. We thank you for your taking the time to express your concerns here rather than taking this elsewhere, and we've come to a decision regarding the application.
First of all, I just want to say this is an amazing premise. I'm horribly addicted to Dissidia as is, so a roleplay in its setting is brilliant, imo. :D And also wanted to apologize for the vaguely confusing writing sample I submitted, as I was under the impression everyone was losing their memories the way characters did in the game before I re-read the FAQ. My bad.Next, I have a question solely out of curiosity. I read that you were taking suggestions for events, and I was mainly curious what kind of events you may have had in mind. Were you referring to the wars or events like, say, everyone gets turned into a chocobo for lack of a better example
( ... )
We're glad, thank you. ♥ No worries, it's one part of the game we get most questions for.
Either works! While we don't intend to turn the game into a crack game, a lighthearted event would be nice once in a while. So suggestions can be in relation to the wars or something else entirely.
Sure, you can add in a line or two if you believe it would be best for Cid (if so, it would feel like a whisper rather than a booming broadcast). Alternatively, you can simply drop him in with no convincing whatsoever from Chaos for Cid to be in conflict.

I'll make sure to let the game know in the OOC comm what's going on, of course.
