Oh, I'm sure they're giving him tons of extensions because they know it'll be a best seller. Every right-wing droolbag in America will snag it and put it on the shelf next to the books they never read by D'Souza, Coulter, Hannity, and so on.

Part of me wants him to read this and waste yet more time not writing the book. Part of me really wants the piece of shit to be published and quickly forgotten ASAP. I doubt it's going to deserve the publicity even its critics are giving it.

Best outcome - Doubleday pulls it, sues for its advance.

Bizarrely, I did a little more research, and Jonah actually announced that he was writing the book in a post calling for a researcher back in January of 2003. So the fucking thing has actually been in the offing for FOUR YEARS and counting.
