i have one of those "ultimate solider" figures, too. they're pretty keen. i got some "swat team leader" dude who's all in black. the level of detail put towards the gun is actually pretty disturbing. the clip can come out of the gun, and you can actually see a seperate peice of plastic has been molded in the shape of bullets.

Yeah, they look pretty slick. You can buy these weapons packs that as super-detailed.

For my friends, I got this WAAC figure, who comes with...a CAT! Because, you know. Ladies love cats! Even if they're in the military!

Man, just when my budget is incredibly tight. I would so spring for a few authentic GI Joes and surrounding paraphernalia, even at $30 a Joe.

Maybe I can put one or two on layaway.

actually, erwin rommel never joined the nazi party. he was a german soldier long before hitler took over, and served GERMANY not hitler. he felt as a patriotic german soldier, it was his DUTY to fight for his country, despite who led it (you know, like some people insist we do with bush) he gave PoW's equal amount of food, medicine and such, and even burned orders from hitler to execute his prisoners. by the way, rommel constantly tried to get hitler to stop persecuting the jews. and do you know WHY hitler had him killed? it was because he was involved in a conspiracy to KILL HITLER! (not something you expect from an actual nazi)
