Drabble Response: Anywhere

This is for sroni2004's request for my still-open drabble meme, which was "Xander/Kennedy interaction". This isn't X/K, more X&K, because I'd have to rejigger Kennedy's personality to get them together like that. And this time, it is a drabble. Set post-"Chosen".

Well, in the ep they used "Anywhere But Here", Buffy said Gavin Rossdale from Bush, not Angel, so I don't feel to bad about it.

So am I. Which makes all my Xanders so unfunny!

I like how Kennedy has to think for a really long time, and what she comes up with is a very cliched version of last year's popular choice. She's not really one to imagine various implausible scenarios; in my mind, she's really thinking, "Big battle against vampires," but remembers that's how Xander lost his eye so says nothing.

You could easily write another take on the conversation from the other side, couldn't you?

Oh, absolutely. And that's what a drabble should be, isn't it? Something that can go in as many different directions as possible, with only the slightest of changes.
