Hope it's a good one.

Be sure to pick up "Wild Space" by Karen Miller. Some good Ani/Obi in there.

Thanks so much!!

And Wild Space? Yeah? I never got through the movie novelization bc I couldn't stomach Traviss' characterization of Anakin or her reference to Obi-Wan as 'Kenobi', but I'll be sure to check this one out--can't have enough canon AO, can we?

Thanks again--I'm off to look at my pretty new TCW calendar, tee-hee!

I know how you feel. I hate myself for buying the novelization before reading it in the store. I was just so excited. I hated what she did to Anakin's character - or rather, how she wrote him. I never did finish the book. I was really starting to hate Anakin, badly, and that's just unexceptable. LOL

This book by Miller is really good though...save some nasty mushy A/P, but the A/O makes up for it. ;)

Ok, cool, so I wasn't the only one, then?! I only read the first chapter, I think, and was so turned off--I was hating on Anakin, and YES, THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. And I actually really like him on the show, so what is Traviss smoking, anyway?

Ok, so I'll have to skim the AP, but that's ok, bc hey, he spends most of his marriage in the company of OBI-WAN, so...I don't need to tell you how the math works there, do I? Bwahaha.

Thanks! Birthday monies will be spent appropriately!

LOL,

No you were not the only one. I read more than I should have because I thought, "hey, maybe he'll get better". WRONG! I didn't want to end the book as an Anakin hater, so I just tossed it.

I do like the show better now than I did before - dare I say, I love the show now?! It just needs more Obi-Wan!

From what I hear, Traviss, hates the Jedi so.......

The fact that Obi-Wan pretty much AGAIN confesses to loving Anakin in this new book makes up for all of the A/P that I have read so far, which really isn't that bad or that much, it's just so darn mushy and superficial.

Welcome. Have a good one!
