is there are any damn bigbang comm that does not require having a beta reader for someone to sign up? now, I don't want to brag, or anything*, but I am a fucking good writer, and I have never in my life used betas. and, I hate to say it, but having a beta is not a guarantee of quality work! Some of the fic I've seen recently, I think the pig could've done more than the beta. (Maybe we need some kind of word usage test before someone can claim to be a beta reader. If you don't know the proper use of there, their, and they're then you fail.)

How about you pretend to send me your story, I pretend to correct your comma splices and tense inconsistencies and then you tell everyone what a great job I did.

I'm totally willing to subscribe to the "let's not and say we did" school of beta reading.

i'm pretty sure rpf_big_bang doesn't have that requirement! nor did bittybang. (but also i am in agreement with the lying. since, you know, your work is in the 99th quality percentile in most fandoms anyway.)
