halfacork gave me these associations. (it's funny, because we've "known" each other forever, with a break of about 7 years where we just lost touch. fandom means never having to say goodbye.)

I feel the same way about going to the movies. My sister and I have been known to pick a movie based on times playing just to have a reason to go to the movie theater. I haven't kept all my movie tickets or reviewed everything I've seen, but I have seen very few movies I hated. I'm really easily pleased as well, so my opinion doesn't really count in that regard. LOL!

See, I disagree with you on The Sentinel. No, it wasn't great art, but I can actually watch and re-watch the whole thing. Unlike Due South of which I've now watched 3 episodes and thank my lucky stars I didn't actually buy, because there's no way I'm going to watch more.

But... as with Stargate Atlantis, it's really the fic that 'makes' the show for me. The fic's more important than the show, which would probably make for an interesting meta if I could string two coherent thoughts together at one time.

I mostly agree with you on Gwen, though, although I still hate her mostly blaming her own crush on Jack on Jack. Like: 'Oh you bastard! You made me love you! And I'm going to marry Rhys, and shag Owen, and you're just a terrible, horrible, no good person for making me fall in love with you!' Which just... annoys me.
