Haha omg first person I've ever met who likes that book :p

Jack does. He dreams about her a couple of times, and the word fantasy is used (when he's awake). He also he thinks about their gun training session when he's in the firing range.

OMG JACK/GWEN. I MUST HAS THIS BOOK. I'm practically peeing myself in anticipation. I have all the previous books but I don't really enjoy them as there is no J/G. :( But this... this is YES. SO MUCH FUCKING YES!

I shall send my mother on the crusade tomorrow! She's going to Romford to buy me S1 of QaF anyway. OH SHIPPY LOVE.

See, the plots in the other books haven't grabbed my interest :p I'd flick through for the shippy bits and nothing else would interest me....but Trevor is total win. And he clearly ships everything, which I'm really feelin'

There's an adorable bit right at the end where Jack's holding Ianto and Gwen really close and he kisses them and awww it's lovely.

Awwww. I want me some of that!

Anyway, what was the J/I interaction like? Did he seem to be only using Ianto as his second choice after Gwen (which I don't like) or did it seem that he loves both of them, and that both of them would be his first choice (which I do like).

Hmm...I think Jack and Ianto's interaction was rather complicated. I guess it's clear that Jack cares for Ianto a lot, but he doesn't show it a lot. Like, he's kind of more affectionate with Gwen. But yeah, he clearly loves both of them. He says as much at one point I think.

Ooh, thanks for the review/sneak preview. I am a not-so-secret lover of Ianto Hurt/comfort, so I've been terribly excited about this book for quite some time. I can't wait until my book order gets here!

Count me in as someone else who really enjoyed 'Something in the Water' too! It's easily one of the more 'in character' TW books (Don't get me started on how badly OOC 'Almost Perfect' is. I honestly don't know who those people in that book were, but they weren't the Jack, Ianto, and Gwen I know and love from the show, that's for sure.) 'Something in the Water', on the other hand, felt just like an episode to me. Everyone was competent, Owen was snarky, Tosh was awesome, there was Ianto/Tosh friendship and caring, and we got whole team hurt/comfort and working together. What's not to love?
