I love this ship, but I never found any fic before. :D I love this one, especially how Zacharias was in character, but still showed a softer side. And I love your Luna to.

Do you have any other Zach/Luna fics to recommend?

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, it very much puts all three "r's" in "rare pairs," but I find the pairing very addictive and easy to write. In terms of writers other than myself, nekiko27 on my the flist of my other journal has written several cute Zacharias/Luna fics in her writing journal, nekiko_no_haya. It's friends only but I'm sure she'll add you if you ask :) In terms of my own fics, I've also written this one which got niffled on FA and is set slightly later. And the pairing seems to pop up in most of my other one shots, to a certain extent :)

I never liked Zacharias. He annoyed the hell out of me in OoTP, and here, you made him the exact same type of git that he was there, but I love how you explained him as being someone who likes straight-talkers. That makes sense, actually, and it made me grin a good bit. That Luna was able to give as good as she got was wonderful. I could see some major fireworks happening with these two!

I think the major part of why Zacharias was so frustrated in OotP was that he could never figure out just quite what Harry was trying to say, and that Harry wasn't giving all the information that he wanted to hear because he didn't feel like talking about it himself, particularly the third task. That, and I think that he's just someone who rubs people the wrong way in general, although not intentionally. He doesn't even seem to be aware of what he's doing. In my HPverse Zacharias only has one good friend which is Susan Bones, and she's always stuck trying to come up with explanations and soothe over bruised feelings from his behaviour :)

And fics that portray Luna purely as an one-dimensional weirdo for comic value annoy me, which is why I'm careful always to have her coming across as very intelligent in mine. Anyway, thank you for reading and I'm glad that you liked the fic.
