Oh, Kat.  I so understand where you're coming from with the thinking you're working so much harder.  Any time I'm on the floor with a new or semi new person I sign the dogs in, I mop the pee, I pick up the poo, I control the dogs, and I wonder how I'm managing this all by myself when there are, like, fifty dogs.  Those are the days where time flies ( Read more... )

yeah, starting new jobs kinda sucks. i think that's why so many people stay in jobs they don't really like. like my job at cruisin' coffee, i could do it in my sleep (which isn't so impressive as it is a really really easy job) and i just go on autopilot when i'm there. fujimama's is crazy when it gets busy. i feel like crawling into a hole when i get 10 tickets up.
yay furniture, boo colds, boo no marijuana. i wish you didn't feel like you need to turn off your brain, but i know what you mean.
i'm your people friend. i'm just far away. :(
but at least you have doggy friends! you should see our new puppy porkchop. he is the coolest ever.

your place of work is almost exactly like I imagined it, except the outdoor area was bigger in my mind and the building was closer to other buildings.

I'm really pleased that you have freeee new furniture. I'm jealous. I've been fairly nest-y for the past....4 months (blame baby) and home decor and cleanliness is taking up more and more of my thoughts and time. so I shall live vicariously through your free furniture having.

I wish you weren't always sick. I like you.

I envy your cleaning motivation. I'm a lot more organized and neat nowadays...but Brett is just as messy. And I don't like cleaning up after him so it just stays.
