A block of shops is having its windows altered in accord with the 1950s era Indian Jones movie to be filmed here in part. A few clothing boutiques have managed to keep this identity, with period mannequins and fashions of bygone days. Maybe you can be an extra. "Evan Almighty" was filmed up here, so the area went nuts, but then the movie presumably bombed.

As usual, I was totally oblivious to the casting call which happened two weeks ago. Maybe someday I'll try out for an extra, but it's not really my style.

So now the streets are filled with oggling adults (including yours truly on occasion) instead of gaggles of girls (and boys).
