Merlin and Morgause

I had a lot of reason to dislike the first series of Merlin but I watched it anyway. I watched it because Merlin (the character) was cute, funny and a wimp but he always managed to save Arthur. And Arthur (<3) was handsome, proud and a prat. Their relationship was real, deep and, if you want, slashy. Perfect.
Then there was Nimue, evil and beautiful

Morgause is the last hope for the series. When Merlin first aired here in Canada, I watched it but was a little cynical in thinking how they would destroy it later on down the line, since it felt to me almost like an "Arthur Goes to Camelot High School" deal. :/

I'm sort of glad I skipped some of the episodes in first season. Lancelot really annoyed me.

some weeks ago I wrote an Italian rec for the show XD and I titled it High School Musical with swords and horses (but no Music).

Lancelot seemed cute in the first season I actually liked him. Now I can't stand him. I can't stand anyone. Just the Dragon and Gaius. I still love them.

I really had to abandon Merlin after the episode with Mordred XD AVGH. All the Italian fandom is hearing my complains (I'm quite annoying when I want)

Michelle Ryan was my favourite (also because she played Lady Catherina in the Doctor!) but Coulby is cute <3

I like Merlin because it's fun and because I think a rerendering of Arthurian legends - like the Mists of Avalon but more piss-take - are really interesting. But there is no way that it can be mistaken for good television.

Also, it's in the BBC family-TV slot, so there's no chance of an incestuous bastard-spawning Arthur/Morgause relationship, or of an adulterous love affair between Gwen and Lancelot.

Also, when is Uther going to die?

I liked The Mists of Avalon but not too much. And I don't like Merlin anymore ;_; of course, no incestuos relationship but I hope in a little love story MorgauseArthur (and Morgause not Arthur's sister) and then Morgause goes to adopt Mordred *random*
