I read The Book of Mordred and it wasn't bad, per-se. I did like the portrayal of Mordred's character. However, my problem with it is that more focus was on an original character, her mother and Nimue than Mordred himself. A more accurate title would have been The Book of Women Who Love Mordred. *shrugs* I did find Valde's explanatory notes at the end very interesting, though. She strongly justifies why she likes Mordred as a character, where most people see him as evil, within them.
