it's probably hebrew for "big puking"

What did I do for Yom Kippur? First, I didn't work my other job, since I'd put in about 12 hours overtime last week at the hotel. Then I slept late. Then I bullshitted myself for a couple of hours after getting up that when I went downstairs to get the mail that there would be a clump of people who owe me apologies at the front door, wearing ( Read more... )

Oh, honey! These are the times I wish I had a helicopter to get myself to Seattle. I feel your pain -- last year I ended up in urgent care and they promptly stuck an IV in me. I was fantasizing about water and popsicles and ice for days. I hope you feel better, and wish you didn't have to work.

Yeah, why haven't they invented the fucking teleporter yet, anyway? I'm back up to about 80% today, and taking it easy the rest of the week. Work this week shouldn't be anything like last week, so I'll be fine. Thanks for the well-wishes.

Hey, I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you out yesterday. I was at ITT from 1 to 9:30 pm, so I didn't get your message until after I got home. I hope you found someone to help you out - it sucks to be sick and bed-ridden.

I think Miles must have the same thing as you - maybe you even got it at his house. He's been home sick for the past three days.

Feel better!

Dude, no problem. I remembered about an hour after I called you that you'd be working on a Tuesday night; I blame the fever. Marty gave me a hand.

I figured I picked it up from Miles's kid. Hate to hear he's sick - I know what he's going through!

Oh man Jason that sounds terrible. Did you get my message? If you need anything, another store run or what ever, I will be on the hill for a work out today. I hope that you are doing better.

That is great news about the data recovery! Hang in there.

No problem - I forgot you'd be house sitting. I passed out for a few hours after I called you anyways. I probably wouldn't have even heard my doorbell.

Thanks for the offer! I'm much better today.

I'm shocked that the Apple went belly up that fast. Is it still under warranty? Did you have Apple Care?
Bummer. I've been a diehard for the past 10 years.

Sorry to hear that you got sicker than a dog.
