Thank you for this. If I hadn't followed these instructions, I wouldn't have known/remembered/realised that I'd enabled that feature on one of my email accounts. I'm now passing this on like there's no tomorrow!!

Thank you for the heads up!
As if Google is keeping tabs on us all for obscure reasons that can only benefit them in ways we innocents can't even dream of !
So if you've done all the steps, including the last one about removing Web History as a Service, what happens now?
