With a win over the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, The NBA's Golden State Warriors are headed to the playoffs. Oh. My. Goodness. My fellow Warriors fans and I have been waiting for 13 years for this moment. That would be since my freshman year in high school. It is to be savored! Playoffs. The scary part is that the Warriors seriously have a good chance of pulling through with a series win, with how they've played against the Mavs the past few years. . .

Props to the Cavs for winning and nabbing that 2-seed today! Can't see the Wizards doing anything this season with both Butler and Arenas out. LeBron has a lot to prove, and that all but guarantees a conference semi-finals appearance (presumably with a fairly well-rested team to boot!).

Thanks. It's exciting actually; I was able to nab some tickets for the first game on Sunday, and I'm trying to reconfigure my work schedule so I can go to the game and then bartend afterwards.

Even if the Spurs win it all (highly unlikely), I still am allowed to brag that the Cavs beat them BOTH TIMES this year! :P
