Well thank you, but I hope everyone realizes that, much like a typical Facebook, it's only the good stuff I usually am talking about. For example, I did not mention the horrible stomach flu that consumed three of my days this week!
Spent the last three years of my life cooking schnitzels, spaetzle, rotkohl, etc. Gotta love the Oktoberfest season, but really for me, it's most exciting because it means the good winter stuff is on the way. Big ass stouts, barleywines, winter warmers, and spiced this-and-thats... Kind of like, here's one last batch of light, yet tasty lagers before the cold is really here. I'm a summer person, winter beers get me through the six cold shitty months here in the Puget Sound Area. I've commented on two of your entries tonight. Both booze related.
Awww jeah, I love German food! The German place that is one of our regular bars where we hang has bone marrow on special during Oktoberfest (and various other times of the year too) and I looove it. I love all their food!
And yeah, I can't waaaaait til winter-types beers and drinks are fully in season. I've got my eye on trying a new smoked porter from a brewpub that just opened near me!
