Life is scary. The idea of doing one thing for the rest of your life terrifies me. In the last 6 years, I'd worked in about 6 different industries in very different jobs. I've never lived anywhere longer than 4 years. I went to 9 schools. Change is so much a part of me that stability terrifies me. This year, I'm going back to university to study French, so that I can become an interpreter, I think it would be an interesting and diverse career that I'd never get bored because I could always go somewhere different.
Wow, you must have been all over the place (at least in Australia, right?) through your childhood. Stability is good in some areas of your life, like family, but otherwise I feel the same way as you do. I just want get bored so easily with jobs and constantly want to find something new and exciting and interesting to do. I've always heard that if you find the right job or career, you'll love going to work every day and that it won't feel like work. Maybe that's just a myth, but I really want it to be true!
An interpreter? A french interpreter? You've just gotten crazy hot and sexy IMO! I think that would be a really exciting career choice, and I hope university is fun! Who knows, maybe you'll end up in Paris in a few years?
