We went to the Bon Odori Festival 2010 at the Wachovia Atrium and Plaza in Uptown Charlotte yesterday.

Oh wow. That looks like it was just awesome! Great picture of you and the kids too.

I didn't know they had armor like that in kendo. What is the 'do' made out of? It looks almost like a polished mahogany.

It's hard lacquered wood. I didn't ask if it was mahogany, but it wouldn't have surprised me if it was.
