Cascarones or confetti eggs.... You have them where you live?

Just read an article that made them sound regional to Texas/Mexico or hispanic-influenced cultures. Never thought about it.

We don't have these. We blow out eggs. I don't know how to say it.
You poke in two tiny holes and then you blow the insides out, rinse and pain them and then you hang them up like ornaments. Only you don't have a tree, but a collection of branches.
And then we also do the whole hiding and searching chocolate eggs thing. But I think Americans do, too?
