Ficlet: Father Figure

I keep forgetting to post fics because of procrastination and general dislike of doing anything productive these days. So here's an OLTL fic I wrote last year. It came about because I believe Jack Manning has the potential to become a replica of psycho!Todd with no hope of redemption.

There's not a lot of OLTL fic out there and some I've read...leave a lot to be desired. Soap fandom is about twenty years behind other fandoms.

I read this fic on ff.net a while ago and loved it. I didn't realize it was yours. I think my favorite part was Jack likening Spencer to Superman. That an his evolution into a young Peter Manning.

The first time I saw Spencer, my first thought was how clasically All-American he looked. In Rock Hudson's day the actor would've been a bigger star. He looks like the hero and I can see why Jack would be swayed by that.
