All of my grandparents died, some of them kind of needed to go though. My mom's dad died when she was 12, so i never got meet him, only through pictures, he was a war hero. My dad's mom died when i was in middle school, my dad still talks as if she never really left, she was a good typical grandma, sending money and cards and food when she could. I only have one real memory of her and that was the fact she took me to my first day of school and help me make my first friend, who didn't know how to speak english, he only spoke urdu, and she spoke to him and he learned english from me. My dad's dad was a bitter alcoholic and a violent man, in his old age he went completely senile and the first and only time I went to trinidad, he didn't recognize my own dad, but he sang a song for me, i didn't know anyone in my dad's side even liked music, let alone play it, then a few months later he (in his senility) mistook antifreeze for koolaid, and drank it and died.
