Listen, since there are so many ex-QAF-ers who are into the Doctor now (I know darksylvia and llembas are also of our number), is anyone interested in staying together to talk about the RTD series, including the upcoming Torchwood?
Since at the moment we're all at different points, we could form a community so that people could post about wherever they were up to, and put signs like "Spoilers beyond 1.7" on the posts so unspoiled people would know what to avoid. They might even let us tout it on In Babylon, since QAF is no longer a growing fandom.
Does anyone know a legit way we could 'synchronise our watches' for "Torchwood" (e.g. can we download it from a paid source like Amazon or iTunes within a relatively short time of its screenings?)? Are there such sources for "Dr Who"?
I watched the first Dr Who season (the RTD one) and I loved Captain Jack! :D I didn't watch S2 though (except the first couple of episodes) because I just couldn't really get into it...I don't know why exactly, but Dr Who is just not my cup of tea. *sighs*
But I'll watch Torchwood for sure (at least I'll give it a chance), hopefully there will be downloadable episodes around... :-)

When does Torchwood starts?

According to the BBC Torchwood site, it starts in Autumn 2006 - so any time really.
They began filming in May :)

Which probably explains why there was so little RTD except at the beginning and end of this Dr Who series.
Are you guys interested in a Torchwood/Dr community of ex-QAF fans, or if not can you rec existing ones?
