Summary: It was ironic, really, how fire of his own making had been the cause of John’s mutilation.

Huh. Interesting take on the aftermath of the Iceman/Pyro battle at Alcatraz. I liked that it was John's fear that made his mutation uncontrollable, but he never gets the chance to get past it because of the whole grabbing on to Rogue and then not letting go.

I kinda wonder about all the psyches in her head, if Magneto and Pyro will team up on Wolverine.

I really liked the way you wrote this. I don't know if I can honestly say whether or not I like the story, but I'm thinking about reading it again a few more times, so I guess I did.

This was a really intense piece, and that last line just left me sitting in shock. Excellent writing!
