Oookay, so I get on my LJ tonight and apparently that Fanlib shit exploded all over fandom while I was sleeping. And that rumor? Not such a rumor.

So, if you watch this journal and you're not on my flist, comment here and I'll add you. This journal will be completely friends locked until further notice. That includes all fic and writing of any

Long story, but basically what's been going on for the last few weeks I think (may be only a week) is this site, FanLib.com wanting to profit off of fan fiction so they're coming to fan fic writers and trying to get them to give them their stories (you're stupid as shit if you do this, btw, just saying) and anyway, fandom not taking kindly to it because hello, we're not stupid. Thing is, they have no place in their idea of what fandom is for slashers and sure as shit have no place for people who write chan *ahem* So they (and I guess a bunch of on line groups against child molestation/pornography/pedophilia) are putting pressure on LJ to delete a bunch of LJ accounts. I don't know if it's financial pressure or what. But they are deleting them. for example, the pornish_pixies comm, which I believe had a permanent account, was deleted. But they're not exactly being particular about it either. They've deleted a comm for the reading of the book 'Lolita' (?) and the LJ of someone who had the interests (i.e. rape, incest, pedophilia, etc.)
