Back in The Groove
I have been reading like mad lately after having been unable to pick up a book for months in the first year after my father's death - I just lacked the ability to concentrate on anything, I guess.

The Alexander McCall book is the third in a series - it can be read alone, though. The main character of the series is an Edinburgh philosopher, and I really enjoy reading about the turns her thoughts take. (The first book in the series is called The Sunday Philosophy Club, the second Friends, Lovers, Chocolate.)
