Oh hell yes that fic is a monster and I love it.

Vathara brings an insane amount of research to the table, and because of that, fleshes out the ATLA universe in, I think, a compelling and believable way.
Also, dragons, spirits, ancient conspiracies, different examination of Air, rebellion, making one's own family and loyalties, the Dai Li being awesome, interesting explanation for the angst coma, train battle and did I mention the Dragons 8D?

The one issue I have with it is something I've seen in other fics that's more to do with the writing than anything else. Mainly, characters discussing and praising an offscreen character. It's called Shilling The Wesley on TVTropes, but the Wesley part I don't think applies here. It's just that scenes where people suddenly realize what all Zuko's gone through and how awesome he is... happens a lot. Usually justified, and the poor guy is due some credit, it's just the way it's written and its frequency that bothers me a little.
Small complaint. Everything else is awesome.I hope people give this
