So, I've always been kind of wary about reading fics centering around D/s relationships, but I clicked on this because I'm sick of that being the reason I don't read some of your fic recs. And hot damn, this was brilliant. Sherlock is wonderful in it, and John and just. Yeah.

Heather, you've got to trust me, dear! I mean, I read a lot of BDSM, and will definitely go out of my way to find some in any given fandom, but if I'm going to rec it, it's not only for the smut/play. I really love D/s that transcends the actions-that really hits the core of the characters involved.
