I could have sworn that I had commented on the last fic but apparently I missed it! Horrible.

I just love this series and how Buffy and Nick are having all these encounters (whether he knows it or not) and the tone that you set with each one.

With a groan she debated on whether she should answer. Giles had been calling her since she got to Vegas and so far she had done a good job on keeping contact to a limited amount of calls. Her face scrunched up and she pulled out the ear buds before she flipped the phone open.Okay, so I really like how awkward and tense things seem to be between Buffy and the others. I can just imagine that happening with the way they seem to all be able to live their lives now and move around - it can still be life or death situations but they're not living practically in each other's pockets anymore. And I'm especially liking that Buffy's just trying to do her own thing, which ironically seems to be slaying when in the series, she spent a good portion of the time wanting normal, while the others seem to be ( ... )

Thank you sweetie! I'm so glad you enjoyed! I'm enjoying writing this random encounters and there'll be lots more since I won't be rushing anything in this story. My muse is definitely looking forward to what will be coming in the next couple of installments.

I tried to find a balance with the tension. Despite what went down Buffy still loves them and would go back to protect one, however I do think things would still be tense and Buffy would still struggle with the balance act.

*bounces* Glad you like the drops of sparkage. Can't have too much and most of it is going to be Nick noticing out Buffy in that way for the moment. He's so much fun to write. I just want to gobble him up!
