I normally lurk, but this made me jump around in glee when I saw you had posted a new chapter ^^ I have to admit I was going crazy, waiting for a update and re-reading the whole story while you didn't! I LOVED Eb's reaction to Marcone's speech (GO JOHN!!), John's speech is a work of art as well and when he questioned the council's behavior... XD Basically this chapter is made of WIN as is the rest of this story ^_^
I wait eagerly for the next chapter! *goes to re-read all chapters again*

The Council took a victim of child abuse and tried to kill him. There was no way Marcone was going to just let that go unsaid.

I know, it's just... His behavior, making it clear before the council, before a group of people that can easily make him a flambeed Marcone for his daring, for passing judgement that what they did was WRONG and claiming Harry as one of his, and as such not under the Council's authority...(if we take his claim seriously, which is not what the council does, to their eternal regret on the future, I think). Yes it is stupid, but a thing of beauty as well. 8D

Wow this is so incredibly written. The dialogue, the legal language and them after their moment of victory not to mention the characterizations are epic. <3 *resists urge to squeal* I look forward to the next update. :D

*squee!!!* The best compliment I could give is that lived up to all my expectations, and it did. Great tension, great drama, great timing and flow, and some wonderful little emotional moments between the two of them, especially with the last line. I can't wait to see where it all leads.
