All summer I have been eating hummus that I have bought from Costco, but the other day there was a severe lack of hummus in the refrigerator when I wanted some. So I decided to make some. And yet, after eating hummus for about 2 days straight now, I still have a shit load left over. And when I get back to CA, I will probably make more hummus (which you are welcome to have some of)

lol there's nothing like leftover hummus. Aram and I made hummus together - last year? year before? but anyway we actually used store-bought tahini, so I guess it was halfway cheating. In any case, the best thing about making your own hummus is that you can add five times the garlic they put in the store-bought one then it just becomes SOO much better - but you have to keep a safe distance from all people for like half a day after eating the stuff! Mmmm!

Store bought tahini isn’t cheating, it’s just convenient and since I live on the hell-mouth, the store do not stock tahini.

I did exactly what you did; I added a huge amount of garlic and now people are avoiding me when ever I try to talk to them.
