Grune is going to be interested despite being singularly unsuited for the job. XD; Provided Frederic has started up his lessons again, Grune actually does know a little piano/keyboard, but she never, ever remembers to practice, so, um, yeah.
...For like two minutes? And then she'll see a friend in the audience and stop to wave, or possibly wander right off the stage to go say hi. So, er. Yeah.
Hmm. I think the only one who would be any good for this would be Jack. Not sure how good of a singer he is, since he's shown belting out some tunes but we have no frame of reference for whether he's any good or not. XD
Anyway, it's a neat idea. I look forward to their first concert. (Personally I recommend Litchi as their lead singer.)
I might toss in Jack just to have him last long enough to quit the band or be thrown out. XD
I also have it headcanoned that he's a great harmonica player and that he's probably good at the guitar, but sorely out of practice. I mean, you stop playing for about a century and you just get rusty, you know?

Because Kazooie, once she gets her bugle-kazoo, could totally rock it.

If nothing else it would be stupidly hilarious to see Kazooie rock out.

.......And the first song that comes into my mind is Low Rider.

Derek might give her a chance anyway, and give her something like maracas or a tamborine to play (they get used in rock music more than you think).
...And then he'd keep an extra set nearby for him or someone else to pick up for when she wanders off.

Derek certainly wouldn't fight it if Litchi turned out to be best choice for the lead fem vocalist.
Jack's certainly welcome to try out for it either way. Might be an interesting spin on the whole band dynamics.
Thanks! Should be fun.

Yeah, that would be a pretty good reason to be out of practice.
