organizational type-thing

OKAY SO, as a weird follow-up to Ginko’s last post calling for conglomeration of medical know-how, I thought I’d offer to keep track of a little organizational post for charting IC medical knowledge (because I’m a dork about this kind of thing). This can also be handy if you have a character who started with little medical knowledge in canon, but ( Read more... )

This pings my nerdiness immensely. \o/

Robert here... I wanted him to gain actual formal medical knowledge in Luceti via derping with doctors - what he knows right now is pretty much just stuff he's picked up over time, and isn't necessarily organized medical knowledge. :|a But I was hoping for him to be at least a semi-competent actual-doctor eventually, and he's been helping Ingrid out and the like so he's probably picked up on some techniques.

... Maybe. *derp* But I really do think this is an interesting idea =D

I know how you feel. >.> Rydia can use healing magic, but otherwise she can't even begin to compare in terms of medical know-how.

And I second the idea of a first-aid class.

I am proud of myself for reading RICE and remembering what it was!

But I like this idea of classes too. Sheena's got her own knowledge gaps to fill in.

So is this just for anyone in general with medical know how or what?

Yeah, particularly characters with a knowledge gap when it comes to what they came to Luceti knowing, and what they've learned here (if they're disposed to pick up those kinds of skills).

Bones has taught first-aid to people before, so he'll be happy to do a few classes again.
