Will deaths still include the penalties? (assumes they will, but double-checking for everyone who might've wondered)

Indeed they will. Normal penalty, with seven day revival. It's better than being perma-killed though.

I plan on having Selphie ask for magic to help her during the fight and I know that it's an assortment of magic but is it magic from FF8 or more Luceti centric?

Also, this one is sooooo not fighting The General. Derpy Princes would go on a rampage.

It would be FF8 brand magic. As with past drafts, Filial magic doesn't work outside the enclosure.

When Bil's post goes up (tomorrow or the day after), just have Selphie contact him. He should give her a nice collection of magic, emphasis on mid-level magic, with a few high-level ones tossed in.
