It's a good thought, and it's probably possible to change the box colour and keep the font white; it may take some code fiddling, but we have time. Thanks for the suggestion, I was actually wondering if that would be an issue.

Anyway, for those who died, do we just bring them back like we normally would had they been like kidnapped or such (i.e. they find themselves in a random place battered up from however they died)?

The status of those who died is really up to you, since the manner of which they died is so different. If their bodies are relatively intact, they can simply wake up wherever they died; otherwise, they can show up somewhere in the village/forest/whatever as per usual.
