Oh, Gojyo heard. And Gojyo seriously considered not opening the door. Or opening it, throwing a punch, and slamming it again. But for Mello to want something?

...Yeah. He has to know. The door opens, and Gojyo glares at Mello. He doesn't need his notebook for his "...What?" to be obvious, does he?

"You're not going to invite me inside?" Pardon the sneer that Mello's wearing, for the most part, it's stuck there. "I'd suggest that you do so before you drop dead, again, or someone bothers to listen in on this one-sided conversation."

That glare, it burns, but Mello doesn't have any problem returning it, and in doing so, signifies a stalemate. He's not going to say another word unless Gojyo relents.

Yeah. Mello really wants something.

This could be interesting.

Gojyo shoves the door the rest of the way open and heads back inside, waving a "come on" gesture over his shoulder as he does so. There's a pile of paper and a pen on the table, next to an ashtray and most of a bottle of something golden brown, and that's where Gojyo's heading. Think he might need words for this. Think he might need a drink, too.

With the click of a lock, Mello closes the door behind him, eyes darting around as he takes a survey of the room. It isn't wrong to assume that Mello's after something, because, hell, when doesn't he? With Mello, there's always an underlying motive, or, more likely, an entire set of them. Funny that he's the one that technically owes Gojyo a favor, or was that little agreement a load of bull ( ... )
