Summary: Naruto arrived in a bad mood, so Kyu suggested a picnic to help cheer him up and introduce him to Gaara's friends in Luceti. Little do most of them know, Yuffie and has spiked the watermelon...

Yuffie was trying her best not to smile to much as she made her way where the picnic was gonna be. She had gotten two watermelons, and cut one and a half of them up, spiking those pieces, and leaving the last half uncut so she would know which ones were safe for her to eat...since really, she's never even had alcohol, let alone a lot of it! Though she was smart enough to make sure that nobody would be able to taste it while eating the watermelon! Because anybody would be smart enough to stop eating any food that tasted weird!

Kyu bounded over and looked up at Yuffie "A'right! Now all we need is Snowball-san an' 'is tea."

Gaara walked over in a more dignified manner, resisting the urge to grab a piece of watermelon right then "Do you need help?"

Yuffie smiled happily at both of them. More so at Gaara because he had no idea what he was getting himself into. "Nope, I'm good! Just tell me where to put them!!"

"Put them with the rest of the food." He walked back over to the blanket that kept the food off the ground, noting that a corner had blown over and fixed it, weighting it with his gourd, since he didn't expect to need it and it would still be withing useful range.

Truthfully, Hitsugaya wanted to avoid being near so many people at once. It was nerve racking, as he reminded himself those memories were merely illusions, remembering Ukitake's words. But he also wanted to support Gaara in whatever he was doing for his friend. Hm. Decisions.

The shinigami stood in the shade a bit longer.

Kyu noticed the white haired boy quickly, bounding over to him "Heya Shiro-san! Yer jus' in time! Hyper-chan brought some watermelon, so 's soon 's Snowball-san comes with the tea all the food'll be 'ere!

"...Who's Snowball-san?" Hitsugaya raised an eyebrow. The fox was as bad as Norma when it came to naming people. He looked forward to tea though.

"I guess that would be me," came Jushirou's voice cheerfully as he moved to the others with several things in his arms. Namely a canteen and several mugs in a basket. This was, assuredly, the tea he promised.

Train showed up a bit later than the rest, a few bottles of milk between his fingers. Though he hadn't really taken his time getting there, he still didn't make it in time with the others.
"Looks like I'm late to the party."

Kyu is, oddly, not present. Though Gaara looks over at the voice "Naruto isn't here yet."

"Oh well, suppose I'm not late then."

Train walked over and set his bottles down- and yes they are his bottles, he wrote his name on them.

Gaara nodded. He was starting to get nervous, though. The group was getting rather large, and he had rarely interacted with this many people at once. Not that he'd show it, he simply glanced at the name on the bottles then goes back to waiting for the guest of honor.
