[Here, have another person who is small and fast and wielding nunchucks, watching your back. Pao-lin's nunchucks are considerably smaller than Selphie's, though, and she's got two of them a-whirlin' around her as she takes down the Third Party soldiers in the mines. Her strikes sparkle bright with her channeled lightning, stunning anyone unlucky enough to be on the receiving end. When the soldiers are down, Pao-lin will tag them with the scanner...then frown at the device in her hand after she tags the last one.]

Ah, crap...I'm out of charges.

[Selphie backs up against the girl and with familiar ease, slips a battery cell out of her scanners pouch and presses it into the girls hand before taking out another set of Third Party soldiers. She scans their barcodes in a well practices motion before flashing the girl a confident grin.]

Problem solved!

Huh? I didn't realize there were batteries for this thing...

[She starts fumbling with trying to put the battery into the scanner.]

You've got it upside down. It should slide right in.

[And then Selphie takes out another Third Party soldier with a hard ram of her nunchaku into their gut before she scans their barcode and they vanish into thin air.]

[Success! Pao-lin slips the battery in, recharging her scanner. Just in time, too, because there's a Third Party soldier coming her way. Pao-lin had to tuck her nunchaku under her arms while dealing with the scanner, so she's just going to awkwardly turn and fire off a stream of lightning at the soldier's wings, taking them out. She glances around, checking for other intruders.]
