Here comes someone who might take Ginia out for a dance.

"Hi, Miss Ginia!" Pao-lin greets, taking a seat next to her. She caught Ginia's latest journal post a little too late to be of any assistance, so maybe she can make up for it here by keeping the woman company.

Oh, Pao-lin! Ginia recognizes the voice and turns toward her general direction and offers a smile.

"Hello, Pao-lin, are you enjoying the evening?"

A pity she couldn't see the girl's attire; she'd certainly approve of it.

"Mmm-hmm! I've never been to anything like this before. There's so much good food here!" So predictable, Pao-lin.

"They certainly did a wonderful job with all the food. I'll be stuffed for days."

"Do you think any of this would be difficult to make for someone who's never cooked before?" Pao-lin's already making mental notes of things she might eventually want to try.

"I'm actually not sure. You'd have to talk to Jack Aubrey, he's the one who arranged for the food. The meat isn't too hard, I would imagine, it's mostly knowing how to season and the right cooking times. Not sure on the puddings and other desserts."

"That makes sense." Pao-lin stretches and yawns a bit. "Are you doing okay? With being blind and stuff?"

Ginia offers a shrug and a what-can-you-do smile? "It's still a bit odd, but I'm doing okay. Giles and Helios are helping me out. A good thing, I'd probably set something on fire or hurt myself if I tried cooking for myself."
