If Giles is heading out to the food, he's definitely going to spot this cross-dressing gentlegirl trying everything she can -- though he may have also seen her dancing with a lady or two beforehand.

"Hi, Giles!" she greets when she sees him. "This food is really great, isn't it?"

He soon spots Pao-Lin sampling everything that comes to hand. He's not surprised to see her here, because he did notice her cutting quite a figure with her dance partners. Really, a suit suits her, to Giles' aimless thoughts.

"The food is marvelous. I can't imagine how hard everyone must have worked gathering it all together."

Pao-lin shakes her head. "I've sorta seen these kinds of dances whenever Natasha watches historical movies or something, but I've never done them before." She shrugs modestly. "It's fun, but I wouldn't want to do it all the time."

"Natasha? Is she a friend of yours', then?"

Whatever the answer, Giles shrugs and shakes his head at the next point. "Even the people who lived during this time period didn't have to do this all the time. I think it would lead either to injury or madness if anyone did."
