Summary: The snow coming in is doing a bang-up job on our fruits. Cocoyashi ladies don't much appreciate that-come help them, because they are way over their heads at the moment.

Day One

[wildkotetsu]

[A streak of blue wooshes by, jumping into a tree she hasn't yet shielded by the snow; and it's only a good 10 seconds, and then a head of brown hair full of leaves poking out of the bottom of the tree. And then Kotetsu swings on down, the tree picked nearly clean now, with two baskets of mikans hanging rather heavy on his forearms. You know. The baskets you put on your back.

He lowers them down, before slipping out of the tree like a doofus and landing on his back.]

Itchchchch-!!

[Aaaand the blue glow fades out as he rubs the back of his neck.]

Still the same time, at least...

... Aha. Right. A quarter machine is a case full of random treats, like rings or little toys or stickers or whatever! And when you put money in the slot and turn the knob, you get one of those surprises!

Never know what you're gonna get.

[He straightens up.]

The NEXT user is just someone born with powers. No one really knows how they're born with 'em, but it's only been this way for a few decades... so it might just take some time to figure out.

Aha, you're the second person to bring it up! [He grins.] I just met the kid today, actually; he seems like a pretty good guy.

He is, he's very nice.

Aa. Everyone here seems pretty nice... [He smiles, looking pretty relaxed.] It's a little more close-knit than a big city full of people... Reminds me a lot of my hometown.
