[All's quiet in House 15 and then the rumbling starts. Selphie sits bolt upright in bed, makes a lunge for the kitten and her journal before settling herself quite safely in the doorframe of the closet. When the rumbling finally subsides, Buttons worms her way out of Selphie's shaking arms and hops back up on the girl's bed.

Selphie's just going to stay there in the closet as she curls her legs in close and tries to go back to sleep.]

[Earthquakes she can deal with, they happen sometimes at home and to be honest, it's a little comforting to feel one again. But Kaori knows that that's not the case for most people, and Luceti was no different than her world, judging by the sheer amount of surprise she can feel coming from Selphie's room. They may not be on the best of terms, but... she can be nice and check up on her, right?]

[She may have managed to have dozed off a little bit as Kaori's voice roused her out of her sleep. Selphie looks over at Kaori with bleary eyes as she nods slightly.]

Hey, Kaori.

[She blinks several times at her, tilting her head just a little.] You 'kay?

Roof of House 9

[When the moon starts breaking through the barrier, Cecil's first instinct is to try and teleport to it. To attack it with all his strength. To look around the village for someone, anyone, who might be responsible.

Nothing works, no matter how hard he tries.

Which is why he can be found on his roof, surrounded by the little bright lights he favors, simply watching the moon come down. He almost looks... peaceful, somehow.]

[Kain joins Cecil up there, waiting for a moment when his powers are actually functioning and just leaping up to the roof. He stands there for a long while, staring at the moon as well.]

[Cecil does not turn to look at him. Cecil does not move much, really. But Cecil smiles.]

...I liked all of ours better, truly.

[Because they could fight back against them. Because there were spots within that could have looked beautiful, without the monsters. Because there were no twisted faces involved.]

[Kain nods agreement as he stares up at that face, frowning and glaring back at it. How can it be that there's nothing left they can do?]

Running around all over, CH4

[Once the ground starts quaking there's little Nodoka can think of doing. I mean, she knows what to do in case of there being an earthquake, but this is the moon crashing into the ground!

Running to CH4 and trying to get into her apartment on the fifth floor... But her key to her room is missing. As is her pactio card. If she wasn't panicking before then she definitely was now.

Heading to the stairs of the community building, Nodoka huddles down and keeps quiet. Looks as though she's just going to have to wait this terrible course of events out here.]

[There are the sounds of feet coming down from the stairs. Touma will pause for a moment since he's been searching around for people who haven't gone to the tunnels. That would be the safest place to be, right?]

--Fuck! This is getting worst by the minute... [He'll look at his right hand.] I would have to wait before it comes down close enough to try punching it back into the orbit. Even so... Could Imagine Breaker really negate it?

[She hesitates for a moment as she watches him come down the stairs and stop. It's almost like in a situation like this she's wondering if getting his attention would be a bad thing. Nodoka doesn't want to disturb him after all, he seems pretty focused right now and, well, she would only be a bother.]

T-T-Touma-san!!

[Calling his name and staying where she is, huddled up in the stairwell. He'll understand hopefully. It's a life or death situation.]

[He'll snap out of his musing to turn around and approach her in the stairwell. Touma will lean down on one knee to level with her.]

--Nodoka-san? What are you doing here?! I don't think that will be the safest place to hide!

CH4, outside

[Well looks like the entire world is going to hell. Seems as though the incident involving the Lunarians back in her world never escalated to the point where the moon crashed into the Earth.

Standing within her garden and just watching the moon press against the barrier. Seems as though her new blooms are going to be flattened, along with herself.

Unfurling her parasol and aiming it up towards the barrier where the moon is starting to break through, Yuuka fires off barrage after barrage of danmaku, and when the danmaku isn't proving effective she moves on to throwing out Master Sparks. Bring it on moon, one of the most powerful youkai in all of Gensokyo isn't going down peacefully.]

[Adell looks up when sees the waves of danmaku heading for the moon... where it's followed by a Master Spark. And then another. ...That has to be Yuuka.

He's not been able to do anything to the moon on his own, but maybe combining their power they might have a shot.

From the other side of the building, Yuuka will no doubt see the rather massive energy blasts aiming for the same points on the moon as her Master Sparks, meeting up and causing even bigger explosions on the surface of the moon.]

[Hm? Someone decided to join in with her attempts to stop the moon. How kind. She's normally against things like teamwork, but right now her life and garden are at stake. This should be one of those situations where an exception is in order, right?

For a moment, the stream of Master Sparks stop for a moment... Only to start up again soon after, with two beams of light shooting towards the moon and a spread of danamku accompanying them. More explosions soon follow as the Sparks collide with Adell's energy blasts.]

[The source of the energy blasts draws nearer, heading around the building and approaching Yuuka's garden. But of course, the red-headed demon doesn't tread in it and stays far enough away to make sure he doesn't damage it.

He doesn't let up the blasts, even though their combined firepower appears to be having no effect.]

[ Al's here, ready with alchemy to try to stop or slow the moon's descent. ]

[And Edward's right beside him, hands to the ground to send her all against the moon, even though it seems completely pointless. Even if nothing seems to work.]

We can't give up, Al...!

Right!

[ It's not working. It's not working and it's frustrating to be so helpless. Just for an instant, Al wishes he had a philospher's stone. Just that one, tiny instant.

And then he feels bad for such a thought. ]

[He's not the only one; she's given plenty of thought to the usefulness of a homunculus these last few days, namely Greed or even Envy, someone willing to cooperate by offering their stone. Simple alchemy, even at full power, just isn't cutting it.

With a clap of her hands she creates a cannon from the ground, shooting off a series of rock-made cannonballs to try and break off parts of the moon. If they can't stop the fall, at least smaller pieces are less deadly.

It's futile. They probably all know it. But giving up... it just isn't an option.]
