It's about fifteen minutes later that a knock sounds at Ami's door. Giles is waiting outside, fidgeting...a touch nervously from foot to foot, and occasionally glancing down nervously at the basket on one arm.

Tea, a few small cakes from the bakery, a small gift for the two that he'd stumbled across in the Item Shop. That should be sufficient for a first visit, right?

"Ami-chan, Ami-chan, I'll get this ooooone!" Usagi's loud voice resounds through the house, probably easily audible even outside just from its sheer volume. She's rather enthusiastic about this whole deal, since even if the whole fairytale thing was sort of awkward, Usagi is never one to long linger on such a thing in the past. So instead she dashes across the house, shooting her friend a smile as she passes her, and runs towards the door.

Sure, Usagi is normally lazy, but she feels she at least has to help out a little too when Ami did this much work for the visit. Opening the door is the least thing she can do in this case, and so she does open the door with a big, beaming smile.

Ami hurries to the door just behind Usagi, so that she can at least be there to welcome Giles properly as well. Her smile is restrained in contrast to Usagi's exuberance, but no less sincere.

"Giles, I'm glad you came," she says politely. "Please come in." Usagi, let the nice man inside now.

Usagi's bright, beaming face was not something a man unprepared should be confronted with. Especially not someone used to Ami's restraint. So excuse Giles if he takes a step back when the door opens. He's almost on the verge of apologizing for getting the wrong house when Ami bounds forward.

"O-Oh. Um. Ami. Yes, I'm glad I could make it. Th-Thank you for having me."
