At least he's doing well, despite being overwhelmed in numbers. Damn sneak attacks.]

Sneak attacks are super annoying. You know what else is? Ice missiles. When they're aimed towards someone's wings, especially.]

He notices those ice missiles, and for a moment has no idea what to think of them until Katara pops in. Well, that makes a lot more sense, to be sure. He comes to a stop and flips the Punisher around until it rests under his arm and fires as he's crouched low. The winged men are really losing some wings today, huh?]

The soldiers shriek, having a sense of what's coming, and some of them speed down to attack.
That's just fine. Their wings are already drenched. Katara turns the mist to ice on their wings and pulls back. This has the affect of essentially... tearing large portions of their wings right off.]

And that's when she takes the remaining water in the atmosphere, morphs it into hard, long ice spikes, and attacks whatever members of the Third Party are still conscious. Some of them manage to drive off some of the ice spikes. But not all.
In fact, they should be nearly done here. As long as no one else shows up...]

Stay behind me. [Katara says grimly as she streams up the fallen liquid around them. The blood and water mix, and her movements are a touch more leaden than normal. She's been fighting for a long time.
And Shifters never come alone. He's got a full half-dozen with him. She waits for the right opportunity.]

[And then she's sending out two waterwhips, waist thick, looping high up into the hair to lash around some of the incoming soldiers. It cuts a few of them down, but that's not the point - the point is to get that water high up into the atmosphere, and that is something she succeeds in doing.]

It's a brutal way of fighting, worse than ice spikes, water whips, or downing. They don't have a chance.
And she feels vaguely sick.
Some of them may survive it, maybe get up and keep on going. She only hopes she took out the Shifter in that move.]

The spear drops uselessly to the floor, followed by a bloodspray at the grassy ground.]

The water there quickly turns pink with his blood, and his eyes don't leave Katara's as he falls down dead.
...now there isn't anything 'vague' about it.]

[And he's suddenly aware of the silence-he gives a quick, careful glance around, before walking toward his cross and holstering the two pistols.]
Are you alright?
Reply
They'd killed them all.] Is your big gun working now?
