[That night, Hubert is already inside and getting up to leave when Asbel enters. Although he's gotten used to fighting alongside the others, sticking together hadn't been the easiest task when the battle onboard had been so hectic.

At any rate, he's relieved to see that his brother is fine at the end of the day and regards his presence quietly.]

[Asbel is quick to return his brother's regards, but takes note of Hubert getting ready to leave.]

Hubert... Are you going somewhere?

[Straightening, he adjusts his glasses.]

Since you're here, I will take over watch outside.

[There's only so many people the small communal quarters can fit and he'd rather leave it spacey as possible for those who desire rest.]

I'll come with you, then.

No. The deck will be congested and there'll be no room to come back to afterward.

The deck didn't seem too crowded to me. [He should know. He just came from there.]

[He didn't mean it that way, Asbel.

He just wants you to stay inside.]

Too many people on watch can be distracting. Since you must have come inside to rest, you should take advantage of the downtime before tomorrow arrives.
